I like the
Sunplus pioneer 6 (typical led with the addition of 6 cxb3590 cobs.
I like the big mars lights right now.
I like a double ended digital 600w hps ballast running 2 ceramic metal halides. I think gravita makes a nice one
Andddd I also like quantum boards or anything chip on board that's running 3590's or equivalent vero's in the same spectrum.

Can you talk or smoke bud at work? Before I went 'full time' the mention of bud would have got me fired and I never got an inkling anyone there did it all. Sad times

I talk bud with a couple people. No one grows but I'm picking up a couple customers that love what I'm doing. I could tell one dude smoked cuz I smelled him hitting an oil pen after lunch one day like the first week I started. Then he basically told me who was cool and who wasn't. I picked like 3 people out of the 5 that wernt douche bags and those are my work weed friends lol.

Prior to this job I was a landscaper. Everyone knew I smoked I used to get my bosses ripped all day. Lol

Thanks I will check those out... I am just in a 2x4x5 tent with an enclosed/cooled 400wMH/HPS now...Getting a hot spot in the middle since the hood is really intended to be turned 90 degrees but doesnst fit the tent that way lol... I have been leaning towards a 5 cob fixture running 3590s of an undecided spectrum, hoping the long single row would give me more even coverage.. Not easy to find in Canada so I am debating tackling a build.

Yeah man check out the sunplus. There was a thread on here using it but the grower was novice and did no training or anything special. I know those lights are capable of putting a hurting on em!

Can maybe help with your heat problems if I may have a look at your thread, grown up with HPS so it's all I know!

Feel free to check it out for sure though my temps are good.. When I say hot spot I meant a way brighter spot, I should have been more clear!...I have lots of airlfow through the hood so it cools ok... With a decently cool running cob fixture I might extend my season a bit more into late spring/early summer though!
