In your mind, why do you say the Goliath is better all around than the PS 1000? Just curious PW.
Probably the footprint and penetration.
Do you figure the penetration is because the 1000 is on a mover?

I'm going to agree with GG. I know it's got great penetration. From the research I got on the Goliath it has a 4x4 footprint where I'm not sure about the PS 1000 though
My first thought process on the 1000 being on movers was "how does that affect the penetration?" Seems logical that the moving light would have less overall penetration than the stationary light, but what the heck do I know LOL

No you are correct I think the ps1000 is a smaller panel however I'm not 100% sure of that but it seems logical to me. That would probably be why it requires a mover either that or its bigger and the intensity of the light is too much . If I'm not mistaken the Goliath is the update to the PS 1000.

The 1000 is too intense not to be on a mover from what I understand. The Goliath has great penetration but doesn't need to be on a mover. Thinking the light is more evenly distributed over a larger area due to the larger size of the Goliath.

Yeah I understand that keeping the 1000 still will basically burn your plants. My thought process is that the sustained light, even if a bit weaker would be better than a back and forth more intense light. But again, I am no botanist and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
