PW's First Attempt At Aeroponics & PS1000 LED

Ive thought about that because right now my bucket temps are in the 80's. The AC will be on soon and that will help. I really think the z7 and AN root tribe are helping a lot. Im not going to veg this cycle for long. I mostly want seeds from the Pck x erdpurt and the pineapple chunk. Ill get a fresh batch of STS this week and be ready to go.

I agree!. In pretty sure I'd have a big mess of brown roots and dead plants if it wasn't for the z7. My buckets are pretty warm too. I've only heard of great things from AN bennie line! Seems like it's all working Perfectly!

Tunkers is making his own with an aact tea that he puts into his buckets. It's a very interesting read.

Can't wait to see some seeds that sounds like a great cross!

Re: PW's First Attempt At Aeroponics & PS1000 LED

The good thing is less water in the bucket means it should be absorbed faster equaling less time to sit and warm up?

With that being said, I had purchased a small water temp cooler for under $90 shipped, hoping it helps keep my water temps around 65-70. Root rot destroyed my first grow attempt...

Oh hey! That's pretty cool! Are you going to have the nute water run through it or setup a separate rez and have it run through a metal coil that's placed around the mister? I'm very interested in that mini chiller. How many watts does it use vex?

Hey BF!

Not sure, I may have it cool the nute water in the tote with an external water pump (reduce heat). Also planning to add a 2 gallon rez + float valve in tote to keep the main water levels stable.

The description states 70/108w.

Lets see.

Hey PW, how is that light working out? Have you adjusted the height anymore or are you keeping at your starting height of 30"?

Hey Van, the lights are still at 30" until i can get temps sorted and the Dinachem is an original Chemdog 91' x Guava chem. Guava is basiclly a cross between chem #4 and chem D. Ive heard a bunch of good things about it so we'll find out in 3 months or so.

What is your temp range with that light ( I am definitely interested in how it performs for you)?

I haven't tried the ChemDawg 91. I smoked some ChemDawg 4 last night before bed. Haven't experienced the Guava Chem either. ChemDawg (and all the different varieties of it) is a strain on my list to pick up on my next seed order.

Ill let you know on the Dinachem, i have rez temps down around 78-80 degrees but im using additives that help protect the roots. Z7 and AN roots tribe.
