Yea will be nice to have a change of pace, its nice and frosty i've got a small bud air drying to. Cant wait weeks to try it. .

Bagged up 2-3 ounces today and stuck my nose in for a sniff just before and nearly passed out from the smell, so wait till it's jarred or bagged and the smell will definately be there. My personal will get cured, but the stuff I shift in a week will still be nice. It will get burped a bit for a week.

I've noticed in the past that when you grow your own fruit and vegetables, they taste so much better than anyone else's. Is it partly that it's all the time, effort and love you put into them that enhances the experience? Although, clearly you've grown some phenomenal looking buds there, PW...And they'd smell/taste awesome to anyone!. But you get what I mean.

Pennywise, bravo.

Very nice looking Pineapple Chunk.
I hear you about frost rails...
I would wait too, well provided I knew well enough... And had patience, but you have enough other stuff to keep you busy!!

Speaking of ;)

Do you actively cool you nutrient solution?

We are right on the fence for RDWC(need a chiller for water so it needs to recirculate).

BTW random tip I heard that I will keep in mind a guy using a $130 amazon water chiller wrote in the review that it wasn't enoughvto chill his DWC until he used adhesive to glue styrofoam insulation around the buckets. That sounds like good advice. Would be like a cooler. Will allow to lower farther below ambient.

Any tips on cooling or maintaining reservoir temp?

I pulled the trigger on the Dark Plasma from Ocean Grown, lumberjack seeds.
Its forum GSC x Obi Wan OG.
Been waiting a long time for these to be available and would be kicking myself if I passed on the chance to get some.

Just a word of advice on those small water chillers.
Their design is that of a Swamp Cooler.
The higher the Humidity. The less efficient they are.
They produce a lot of heat also.

I insulate all my reservoirs with 1.5 inch ridged roofing panels.

With out insulation reservoirs would reach ambient temps within a few hours.

12 hours at 81deg ambient temp,
68deg rose to 71deg
Tote is a 3 gallon. 11 inches W x 20 inches L x 5.5 inches H.

This is a 12 gallon tote. 17 inches W x 36 inches L x 6.5 inches H.
12 hours temps rose from 68deg to 72deg. With ambient temps 80 to 83 deg.

Without insulation tote would be at ambient temps in a couple of hours.

These are being insulated. Top of res will get the double insulated bubble reflective as in 1st pic.

I keep my top off nutes in the fridge (40 deg). Every 12 hours I will add cold top off nutes to bring temp back to 65-68 deg. Than remove excess to bring reservoir nutrients back to desired level.
Reservoirs never get above 74 deg F.
