Putting On The Brix With Seedsman Genetics: Seedsman Sponsored Journal

Hi all! Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I was a bit surprised when I pulled the girls out today. I will be posting pics at Docs thread too for advice. My girls are showing pre-flower. I am pretty sure I know why...We had a breaker trip over a week ago and the laundry room where my tent is lost power. I was hoping it was not long, but it very well could have been for longer than a day. I had back to back medical procedures that kept me out of my regular morning and nightly checks.

Not sure if they will get back in synch with the light cycle...Here are the pics. They are a little blurry. GSC # 1 is showing pre-flower more so than #2.

One of my Christmas gifts came in! This was from the Black Friday sale that Seedsman had. I couldn't resist temptation.

Hey everyone. Knowing I was harvesting this weekend, my pal @Lady G2HM encouraged me to post up some pics of my harvest in this thread. I took a couple of shots on Thursday night before I stopped giving water to the Black DOG, and I'll probably take a few more today and tomorrow as I get things chopped down. If I get some other good ones I'll post them up too.

For what it's worth these plants are at about 61F as of these photos. Black DOG comes down today at 63F. Royal Gorilla will come down tomorrow at 64F, but I'd let it get to 10 weeks if I had the time (I'm constrained because I leave for vacation in a few days).

Super awesome as usual, they look so real in your pics. hahahaha

Just saw this was approved here but waiting on Trumps signature. Will really help out the farmers here for sure. Farming has really faded out here hope this brings them back full force.

*I agree, in fact, I think we will see a new rise of farmers, maybe a new outlook and value to land as well. Do you think Trump will sign it before he goes to jail? hahahaha

*So sorry this happened, maybe it's a sign of all our troubles?

Hey guys... I didn't want to overwhelm anyone's thread, so I split my harvest pics up. I posted a bunch of the Black DOG harvest on newty's journal yesterday, and I thought I'd post up a few Royal Gorilla harvest shots here. I got Royal Gorilla seeds back in my very first Seedsman order, so I figured it was the better fit for this journal!

Thanks G2HM for inviting me to post up pics of my harvest! It's great to be welcomed to do so!

Overall I was a little less happy with the Royal Gorilla harvest than with the Black DOG harvest, but it was still a good one. It has a few spots with tiny immature seeds (I made a light error mid-veg). It was a slow trim with all the leaf. I wish I could have waited another week for it to really finish. But, I got a lot of buds and many of them big ones. It was milky trichomes throughout so it should be a balanced high. When I got immature seeds before, it was in the best bud I've grown. And it's of a favourite strain so it could be really nice. Plenty of reason for optimism.

It smells more chemmy than the sweeter smell of my previous time growing it, so it'll be interesting to see how it tastes in a couple of months.

This was the last shot of it intact, on Saturday afternoon. It's on the right.

And a few pics of the trimmed buds.

Thanks again G2HM for encouraging me to post pics. It feels great to share.

The girls are back on their correct light cycle. They are looking good. Time will tell ... If it’s meant to be, then it will be.:)

I did all my Christmas shopping online in 2 days! I just have to wrap and make a cheesecake that my sister in-law will proclaim as her new favorite!

@LadyGaea - Yah I never thought you could just reveg, and continue vegging, maybe my plants will catch up to yours and we'll move on smoothly from here on. Shopping online is a dream, no peeps to deal with, no xmas music, just click and bam, gifts at your door. It's great to be spending xmas in the same journal as you. :hugs:
