Hiya G2! I'm at home. OK. 1st things...I'm sorry to hear the Roots went poof. I should have warned you! Sorry...you are going to grow roots now!:battingeyelashes:

I go right from the pellet or rapid rooter to the 1 gals now. It saves an extra step. I used to go from seedling, to small container, to 1 gal, and bigger. I just made more work for myself.

@weenmeoff drops his seed right in a moistened 1 gal in a divot dusted with roots. Everyone starts a little different. No worries. Whatever works for you is good!

So...your Afghan Kush is a pretty well developed seedling and is VERY pretty indeed!:battingeyelashes: I would moisten your 1 gal with a very light Transplant. and put her in. That is 1/4 ounce per 5 gallons of water. I did the math for a 1 gallon batch. That is only 1/3 of a measured teaspoon or about 1.5 mil. I like having a mil syringe around for these small batches that I mix. You don't even really need to do anything but water at this stage except the Roots. The soil already has all the goodies your seedling needs at this point.

Let her dry out between watering and encourage that root growth by edge watering to make her reach for it and develop a great network of roots. By the looks of her now, you will be dunking in no time! I like to dunk!:rofl:

Hey Lady's! Yes, I think the advice is good. Is the AK in a 1? I can't tell, looked like a smaller pot a few pages back. Are you saying 1.5 ml of trans in 1 gallon of water?

Do the pots feel like they're filled with feathers?

*Now just something to note, not all the roots made it in the transplant, so she may be sad for a while, is that going to hurt her in the long run?

Thanks Ween! :thanks: 1.5 mil per gal is what I calculated. It's the equivalent of 1/4 ounce per 5 gallons. It's what I use for a light TP when I water in between drenches.

*Well I just did the one plant who was in a starter grow pot, she needed to move to a 1 gallon, which is what I did today. :cool: She was as light as could be.
 
Looking good Lady! She'll be fine. Like PW said, your call on adding soil. I highly recommend plopping seeds right into the 1. I've had my best germ rates and all pop and are above ground in 3 days. Also, it's 1 less transplant.

When she drys out, a full transplant drench will be in order.

1ml is fine, like Lady said, there is plenty of goodness in the soil as is!
