Putting On The Brix With Seedsman Genetics: Seedsman Sponsored Journal

Hey Sis! What about getting a humidifier and remove those covers? Can you fit a humidifier in there? I'd like to see those wee ones get the heat and the humidity but without a cover..

Way to hot.

*Okay I got her cooling off now. I will get her to 24 soon.

* I have one tbh, she works great in this unit but it was so cold she wasn't doing anything. So I'm trying to match the humidity now that it's hotter in my unit. Does that sound right sis?

*thanks for asking and yes I have a seedling mat, no there is no way of regulating it. I'm low budget here, but I promise, now the heat's up to 25, I will match the humidity soon and monitor over night. It just takes me a tiny bit of time to figure things out in my brain.

Yes can you take the dome off of them?

I will take the domes off when the seeds go in, I like to warm up the peat pellets so they aren't cold. If you think that is okay, I figure they don't need oxygen when seeds aren't in them. HAHAHAHA gosh what a tough day for me.

Getting the environment right is not as easy as it seems. Mother Nature can be brutal on her own, but we are trying to create a whole world for our plants...and ecosystem really! Not easy!

Hey Lady! Sorry about the seedling! My 'germ unit' is a 1 gallon pot of soil, moisten well, create a divot, sprinkle Doc's roots powder, drop seed in, cover, hang curly CFL 2-3" above soil for heat, wait 2.5-3 days and BAM! Seedling. I don't even really do a dome for clones, I cut the tops of water bottles most of the way and use them as domes, been very successful. Doc's 1st 3 keys to growing are environment, environment and yup you guessed it environment! I know it's not always that easy, been struggling with it myself for a few years.
