Re: PurpleGunRack's 3rd Grow - Organic - LED - Hash Bomb - White Widow - NLxBB - Aug
Update - Day 65 from seed
The ladies are growing well and I think I'm gonna flip to flowering within the next 2 weeks.
I just defoliated Hash Bomb #1 and tied down the side shoots, because it was so thick I could not tuck the big fan leaves under the potential bud sites, so all leaves coming directly from the main stem were cut of and all the small shoots at the bottom were cut of aswell.
Hash Bomb #2 is taking the defoliation and pony tail training well.
The NL X BB is very bushy and has many potential bud sites - really nice indica looking plant.
The Canna Mono Magnesium has helped a lot and the yellowing leaves has started to become green again, the White Widow seems to like her Mg and she'll be getting atleast twice as much as the others.

Wow looking good maan!
I started with jiffy's first days of the week and whent directly into 14L pots. And you can tell only 3 weeks old they love that space from the beginning.

Update - Day 79 from seed (Flowering Day 1 - 08NOV2015)
Time for the flip
Yesterday was the last day of the Gas Lantern Routine and today is the first day of the Diminishing Light Schedule, for the first 2 weeks I'll be running 12/12 and then gradually move towards 9/15 which I intend to reach at the start of week 8 of flowering.
The last 3 waterings I have only fed them water with Ca and Mg supplement, the last watering I skipped the Ca as I was starting to see the Mg deficiency coming back.
I finally found the time to install a speed switch, silencer and acoustic ducting, which has made the setup a lot less noisy I haven't tried running the fan on the low speed yet, on high the temps are 22°C under the plants and 26°C over the plants.
I wanted to have this done weeks ago so I could have flipped them then since they're quite big and I don't want them to become root-bound in the middle of flowering and I didn't want to mess around with their darkness period during flowering.
Group shot
A bit blurry but shows the many potential bud sites on (from left to right) Hash Bomb #1, Hash Bomb #2 and NL x BB.
Hash Bomb #1 The one with the late defoliation and branches tied down.
Hash Bomb #2 The early defoliated and ponytailed one, super dense canopy and 18+ potential bud sites, 2 of the side shoots are almost level with the main shoot now
NL x BB The most bushy and the widest of the girls and today I counted 21 potential bud sites, and the only training has been leaf-tucking.

Update - Day 93 from seed (Flowering Day 15)
The ladies have stretched a bit the first 2 weeks of flowering, preflowers and pistils came around a couple of days after the flip.
I've been struggling to keep the pH in range and to get the Mg deficiency under control and now I believe I have Nitrogen deficiency aswell.
I gave them their first flower nutes last night, the only nutes they've had in 3 weeks apart from Ca and Mg.
I've had some yellowing, and I just took off a load of leaves today which will probably be the last major defoliation they'll get.
I'm starting the Diminishing Light Schedule from tomorrow, I'm taking 15 minutes off the timer every 3-4 days until I hit 9/15.

Update - Day 108 from seed (Flowering Day 29)
Going into week 5 of flowering now and the pre-flowers has become flowers, the Hash Bombs seem to be ahead of the White Widow and the NL x BB. having fatter buds, brown hairs and more trichomes.
TheHash Bombs smell kinda like grape candy or grape Kool-Aid
I'm still not getting the hang of the pH and the Magnesium, I read on the Biobizz website that their soil and nutes should be the right pH if I water with normal tap water pH 6.8 - 7.2.
When I water with pH 6.5 the run-off is 7.5...
I did add a lot of perlite to soil so that might be affecting it, though I did rinse the perlite with water before mixing it in.
I'll keep trying to get it right and hopefully the plants will survive the process

Update - Day 120 from seed (Flowering Day 41)
Hi 420!
Almost 6 weeks in now and the buds are growing and developing some sticky trichomes.
I'm moving to a bigger apartment soon, so I'll have to have this grow jarred up by 15th of January.
Which means they'll get a total flowering of 8 weeks and a day or two.
I would have liked to be able to run 10 weeks or so to get some serious amber trichomes,
but it'll be fun to see what they can do in 8 weeks too
Almost all of, all of them in 1 shot
Hash Bomb # 1 is looking fat and juicy, and it seems to be a bit more ripe than the other bombs.
Hash Bomb # 1 Bud shot
Hash Bomb # 1 Bud shot
Hash Bomb # 2 has the smallest, but the most dense buds.
Re: PurpleGunRack's 3rd Grow - Organic - LED - Hash Bomb - White Widow - NLxBB - Aug
A little delayed update from 24DEC2015 - Day 126 (Flowering Day 47)
I fed the ladies the day after last update and the day after that the buds was suddenly quite a bit fatter, so I took all yellow/yellowing leaves, and some green ones, off to increase light penetration and airflow, specifically the latter because the buds/leaves on the 2 untrained Hash Bombs were very dense around the bottom of the main cola and I was afraid of rot.
This was not really an issue on the trained Hash Bombs, so I guess it's a good idea to do some training on that strain.
I hope they'll recover from this massive defoliation so late in flowering, they look OK to me
On Christmas eve the ladies got their first flush of approximately 50 L of tap water followed by 1,5 L of pH'ed water.

Update Day 136 from seeds (Flowering day 57)
Hi 420
The end is near and the ladies got their second flush yesterday, 20 L -30 L of tap water followed by 1,5 L pH'ed water, so now I'll just let the soil dry out and probably chop them on friday.
The trichomes are mostly cloudy and a little amber, NL x BB and Hash Bomb # 1 has the most amber trichomes ~ 20%.
I'm hoping for 200 g dry bud from this grow, then the setup will have paid for itself and if I'm lucky enough to reach 250 the electricity bill is covered as well, but most imortant if I hit 200 g it'll last until my next grow is done and I won't have to pay for unwashed commercially grown weed
