That is a disconnect hooked to a new 60 amp panel feeding the 2 grow rooms and work area.
It's got 8 - 15 amp breakers.
I'm using 14 - 2 BX to all outlets completely surface mounted so I can adjust anything I need and add plugs & switches anywhere.
I can run the greenhouse off it if I want aswell.
It's fed by # 8 Tek cable I tied into the 200 amp panel in the house today.
That is the light I have for outside. Above the door.
I just threw it up for light, till I decide what I'm putting in there.
If you need guidance building a room I'm willing to help anyway I can.

Do you have to have a license to do this, I mean obviously you need to know what you're doing, but other than that, what else, cause this sounds like something I could pull off if I took enough time to research what I was doing.

Pretty tired this afternoon, house sitting for my mom for a couple of weeks, but I took 2 kiddos with me and my brother-in-law, and I've been slaving at the stove since we got here, planning meals and stuff x'D

My wife is watching the girls for me, doing a fantastic job, she's the one who helped me push down the branches a few days ago, and she's about to do her first feed on my girls tomorrow.

I wish @Herbies Seeds would fly my way for a sponsored grow, I would love to try that apple betty, she looked super killer your last grow I'd low-key be down to try anything they'd throw my way however herbies seems to be making some decadent strains!

I can't wait to see Banana Pudding, and mango mouse sounds bomb!!

Do you have to have a license to do this, I mean obviously you need to know what you're doing, but other than that, what else, cause this sounds like something I could pull off if I took enough time to research what I was doing.

Around here you don't need a license, but you do need a permit. An inspector comes out multiple times as you are doing the work. Hope you got all your paperwork Bill. if not, it could void your insurance, in the event of a fire

I had a ten minute power cut today which is annoyingly common. Seem to have been “upgrading” the power lines on the main road for years. So immediately opened the doors to the room. After 5 minutes we started shifting the plants out to a sunny bedroom next door. Then the power came on.

My first thought was buy an emergency battery backup light - we have one on the 1st/second floor depending on how you count already as building regs - but I need to figure out how to make sure the power fails in the night for it not to come on. Only during lights ON.

Beyond my ken - all I can think is a timer on the connection to the battery which my sparky will know more about.

@CaptainLucky - the waiting’s a killer isn’t it? Deliver it now damn it!

I have a huge list on its way. @DYNOMYCO for the next grow today hopefully.

@Bill284 - I am thinking about popping Sunday. I see a way to make it work with my setup. If the current girls look close enough to flipping by then. I have so many good new things in the safe sitting patiently waiting to burst. But my wife might kill me

In the immortal words of Tom Petty indeed the waiting is the hardest part. lol But have you read the reviews of @Prescription Blend nutes? Top shelf products! I have a feeling this is going to be my best grow ever. CL

Yep seen the Prescription Blend love but just not practical here. The only stuff really available in bulk is DP really and very happy with it. Though my more experienced mate reckons he needs to use more for a given EC than he’s used to. But then he has 1500 plants on the go so is more sensitive to that!

@DYNOMYCO arrived today. Really looking forward to trying it.

I’m actually worried though the roots go crazy big I’m going to be up potting so quick I’ll run out of space in the veg room before the current crop is near finishing

Stuff coming from overseas can take a couple weeks, sometimes they can sit in customs for up to a week. It’ll come just be patient

Funny you should ask.
When I got hurt I stopped renewing my licenses.
Construction, plumbing, electrical.
So no I don't have my license anymore.
There are a few changes but the basics are still the same.
I'm always following the rules when it comes to electricity.

I mean obviously you need to know what you're doing, but other than that, what else, cause this sounds like something I could pull off if I took enough time to research what I was doing.

It's like a puzzle, without any picture or instructions and you have to pick the pieces yourself.
A few plugs and switches I can walk you through.
The panel I'd get someone with insurance.
The construction part is easy.
Give me dimensions and I'll do a stick by stick take off with instructions.

Apple Betty is a fantastic strain I'd recommend to everyone.
Not many strains give me giggles anymore.
