As nick explained, it'll turn that brand new buried power cable to the shed into a data line (without effecting the power). You'll be fine as far as any loss of quality. Your electrical is newer than mine, and you're not sending loads of data (which with this you technically could).
The side bonus: you can buy additional adapters to use around the house to hook up to tvs or laptops etc. Every electrical outlet in your house can tap into it.

Zon says they delivered and it didn't show up until a week later.
We are in the middle of nowhere.
But I love it.
$1.50 that's your currency I assume, they are $20.00 to $50.00 here.
Otherwise for a $1.50 you could resell them and make a fortune.
