This is the second 5x5. Everything is running my DIY SIPs now. Not low maintenance., they’re no maint.! If you needed then to be. I’m using Geopots in these ones, a secret admirer sent them. No idea who, must’ve been my daughter. Good thing, the grocery bags I was gonna use were junk. With these you can remove and move each plant but you’d have to pick it up once a day to prevent roots growing into wicking ‘foot’ which I’m not doing. System holds 6+ gallons fertigation per tote so 3 per plant. Each plant is in a 10 gallon pot of 6040 peat/perlite, 2 cups worm castings (homemade), 1 cup dolopril, 1/4 cup aged poultry litter, 1/2 cup frass, 1/2 cup fine ground eggshell and moistened with ‘my own’ microbe mix I’ve been culturing and is reapplied once/week that also include an extra high cation exchange blue clay I discovered. Ferts are low, just 440 ppm MC 2 part mixed 10-7-10 then cut 50% w/ water. So far so awesome in the new tent, which also has automated enviro controls. Tent b (for “Burn Unit”) throwing up some challenges…

But…. I’m on top of it all and got some really great stuff coming down down the line including the mysterious S. Asian Sativas sent to me by our pal Danish that are soaking and will take the place of the insolent Skittlz.

I know they look similar so I’ll have to do something visually, but I finally have both 5x5s running each with their epic 1000w Kingbrites. YESSSS!
Wow that is some freeken light. :yahoo:
I see you snuck Darth in there for a pic.
Appropriate considering it looks more complicated than Darth Vaders bathroom in there.
Still remember that day back in 77, my Oldman went with me to see it.
Love the white board too brilliant idea.
Neat clean, professional holy , might think you have done this before.
The mesh over the ZKTLZ, was that to give a little shade?

Good morning brother,
Those were shots from sunset last night. Caught a few pics with the sun right before she started to set… and how could I not take the sunset photos; the colors are magnificent.
Early veg stage I actually don’t do a whole lot of feeding. I use a healthy amount of compost and chicken 💩 mixture during the til. I also add perlite to the bed mix!! I would say the plant will tell you what it needs… I can get away without feedings early
When the heat rolls in june I hafta be careful. Especially with the nitrogen… it gets scolding hot where I live (90s/100s and 75+%RH) wary of the burn.

What works best for me during that time water..water water water. Lol. I do have other features in the garden, I don’t know if they are considered companion, but I have tomatoes, peppers, squash, and King Kong sunflowers.

Currently in the last few weeks as the weather has cooled and flowering has ramped, Ive hit it with some calmag, potassium, and bat guano.
I figured veg would be OK.
But going into flower was curious what you use.
I have a couple options but will stick with Remo for the most part.
You can post here when ever you like, but when ever you get a couple good pics you want to show off post in my Heavens Shores thread.
It gets more views.
I use this thread for troubleshooting mostly now.
But like I said post all the pics you want here we love'em.
Have a great day Amigo.

As experienced gardeners will note, this is my first proper garden, really. I mean for food. I told you I saw that 10$ head of romaine in February and snapped. Ripped up my entire front yard and went to town. It has been hard work every single day and I love it. Been selling plants, knickknacks, free books, good ones, selling succulents all summer made over 1500$ so far and mar lots new people. Lower right is one of my compost potatoe grows and huge success. I’m a Dutchman after all. I also grow comfrey and nettles in this area all harvested and fermented into ferts for my weed and next year. Worked like a treat mate.below more potatoes being harvested. I’m going to find a neighbour w/ empty yard space and propose a huge potatoe crap. Their land, I’ll work it, split the harvest. Same with sweet potatoes next year I am going large.

Fantastic. :bravo:
Love the pink bike.
The place looks incredible, seriously.
Way too much work for me though.
Taking care of the greenhouse and lawn is enough this year.
Mind you I'm growing apples.
Which consists of oh look honey we have apples on our tree.
That's enough extra work for me.😎
The mother in-law came to visit Friday.
Mom- Oh Stacey what's in your greenhouse?
Stacey- tomatoes
Mom- if they don't start making tomatoes soon your not going to have any!
Me-😂🤣😅😂

I made Vader into a humidifier. Whenever rh drops below 55% mist just comes pouring out his mask. I might rig up a recording from Star Wars "Get me those plan(t)s commander, I want them ALIVE!" Or maybe I won't...

The mesh over the ZKTLZ, was that to give a little shade?
Yeah Photone App registers a 200 PAR drop, or 9-10 DLI on my 18hr cycle when in the cloche under that window screen. Obviously bumps up the rh% too, to slow the transpiration all-round. "Burn Unit", remember? Ha. Both tents are running 60% rh, 35DLI (18hr) which is aggressive considering I'm not running any co2 above 650ppm yet and plants are young. Those Skttlz are cuttings, cept the big one, and well rooted but not doing well. Dead one actually was totally my fault - training accident. Whoops! Oh well, better plant some of the Mysterious, possibly pure, S. Asian Sativa that Danish and I named "Duterte's Nightmare" He liberated the seeds from the Philipines and you can read about it on his journal. It's epic. Duterte is a recent ex-President of the Philippines who openly sanctioned extra-judicial killings of drug users and dealers - on the streets where they were found, weed smokers too. He openly created kill squads, had press conferences, and when Trump applauded him he started handing out bonuses and huge promotions to squad members with the most kills. No arrest, no trial, just a bullet from an undercover policeman collecting scalps on a motorcycle while you were getting your chillum on, or not, no one knows. Trump raved over the guy, loved him. Dark times my friend.

que paso guey!!!
Are your girls directly in the ground? Or potted outdoor?

With what I hear in “runoff”, that usually means potted…. To me there is quite the difference, naturally; with potted girls having limited volume compared to direct in ground… which mine are.

Regardless of that situation, I feel the plant will really let you know… as far as what it needs in feeding and watering…

Are you referring to droppiness from watering the soil or watering the foliage.. which is something I do in veg… strengthens and keeps the bugs away…

With reference to potted plants, I always keep them nice and hydrated… with intermittent times of drying but not completely bone dry..

Whats your medium you are using?
What is your climate like?

I was watering to runoff then again when bone dry showing drooping. But all are flowering now and using more agua.
You always water to run off.
There are still roots at the bottom of the pot needs fed.
In full flower they will drink more and transpire more, bringing in required nutrients.
The thinking is now you have developed your root system so no need for absolute bone dry anymore.
Now you are using that root system you built up to produce flowers.
So you need to keep it healthy , some drying for air exchange is required but not enough to make the roots keep looking for it.
In short I feed full strength nutrients to run off in flower a little more frequently than veg.
Plus a full pot of roots in flower will empty a 5 gal pot fairly quickly, especially in the heat.
Quicker than a veg girl developing roots.
:morenutes::morenutes::morenutes::morenutes:my theory, hehe.
Just got back from tubing, cold but it's almost September so it's as good as it gets.
I'm heading over to see T. Now.

Well shit Bill…
Must be nice to feel some “cold” lol. Its still fuggin 90 where Im located. My climate is bipolar… but this time of year its 80s highs and 55-60s lows. Which is pretty primo for the outdoor photoperiod. Although we will go through a few heat checks a couple days in row once in awhile.
But this summer was stooopid for temps and RH.
