Purple Cheese - LED - 1st Grow

Generally your seedlings before reaching 3-4 nodes wont be needing any nutrients, they will thrive just as good with your water, without the stress of burning them/chance of slowing them down. Auto's 2-3 weeks from seed before nutrients, as a rule of thumb for most. (unless the leaves tell you they need some). I would feed every second watering absolutely, this helps to clear out your soil to prevent nutrient lockup due to a salt buildup in your rootzone. At this point you probably aren't watering more than one or twice a week, so a once a week feeding is perfect. Increase as the time goes on if you notice changes in your leaves. Hope this helps dude.

Definitely does! if i don't need to be giving nutes i think ill try your schedule. it doesn't use much but they are expensive so if i can save for a couple of weeks tha'ts great. It didn't appear that i got any nute lock out on my last plant, but its definitely something ill keep my eye out for, and maybe ill just switch to every other week. like you said i guess ill be able to tell if they are in need of something.

Thanks man!

shes taking it fine tho. I dont know if this causes much difference in growing or not??
the second one was done at the third node

The white widows are definetly slower growers and theres nothing much worth showing yet...

Inside everythings looking pretty good as well, my topped cheese is getting pretty bushy, no pistils yet. Im considering moving her outside since everything out there is doing so well

I'm such a cheese head, and crossed with purple something I'm assuming... Gotta be niceee!! Can't wait to see the final product. I'm curious to wha made you go LED over MH/ CFLs/ HPS? Nonetheless I'm all in.. Good luck!!

The one i grew before this tuned out decent, tho it was grown terribly, so I'm expecting some good smoke :) My last one had no putple at all which was a little disappointing...

The low operating cost was the main draw for LEDs, But i never actually did the math... I also liked the price on this light.

A question: Does running an auto under 24/0 delay the start of flowers? It really is acting like a regular plant isn't it.

I would try 20/4 light cycle. Hopefully it will be a heavy yield!

IDK if it actually delays it or not. I forgot to mention i changed to 18/6 on day 35. They seem to really be liking the light close and the dark cycle.

My first one was under 24 lights on and was flowering by early week 3, but it also had a lot of other stuff going wrong haha

well i meant to water my indoor plants yesterday morning and completely forgot before i went to work. came home to a droopy Purple cheese with some yellowing on some of the bottom/older fan leaves. I watered them and now shes looking great again. Is this yellowing just part because of the water or early signs of somethings else? It was hard to get an accurate pic, Its not yellow so mach as lighter green

Sorry for the long gap. Had to get a new computer.

Purple cheeses are now at 59 days and still only showing the begging signs of flowering... not sure what to think about that... My indoor one is looking pretty healthy, but some of the older fan leaves are dying off on my outdoor plant. I think its just the heat getting to them but i also have a bit nute burn so I probably didn't help.

My 2 white widows. The outside one is slow going and had a leaf knocked off early on in a storm that flipped my green house. inside is doing ok and flowering but some of my early fan leaves are growing really weird.

Ill have a big update coming soon, with lots of pics. Havnt had time to make as many updates here as I wanted, we've been doing a lot getting ready for our first child. Ill be busy all week setting up for our "gender reveal party" where me and my wife will get to tell everyone that we are expecting a daughter in Nov. I'm hoping to post up some more pics Sunday.

Heres what I have had time to do tho...
DSCF20413.JPG

I made a pvc frame for my tent and put a zipper opening on. it designed so that I can unzip the cover and easily collapse the frame when we are going to have company. It's also more organized with the cords and the plugs being up top. I have more room because I don't have my huge fan in there anymore.

I moved my other White Widow outside and moved my Purple Cheese inside. I know have both PCs and my LSD25 inside. I'm now at 75 days for my PCs and they're still not flowering, other than showing pistils at the stock. So I'm switching to 12/12 lighting in hopes to push them into flower. My LSD is flowering fine but it seems to really be enjoying the LED light so I'm leaving her in here too.
