Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

Yeah starting in the final pot is really recommended. I always start in the final pot. ;)
Unless you have harvested hundreds of plants. Making you an ultra level green thumb.
At that point you could do some crazy stuff without stressing the autos.
Pretty much everyone does a bit of lst on them.

Autos run on a timer. They are a bit more delicate than photos.
Any stress during the vegetation period will dramatically reduce overall yield.
To much stress can cause it to hermie though. Which is nature just being a boss.

Since most autoflowering plants are feminized, some are not.
They are basically guaranteed to be a bud producing female.
With a seed to harvest period of 100 days or less.
A lot of breeders advertise as low as 63 days.

To me that says, there is no chance of wasting your precious time or space.
Since both may be limited.

I happen to have had some Tweet Trainwreck, so I apologize if I have rambled.

Would a scrog be feasible for autos? Say if if I installed a permanent screen in the box im building about 8 inches above the pot?

Although i suppose you dont have much control over how long they veg and if you have different strains one could be a monster and one could be a little fat fucker lol. So would probably be pointless might aswell just do individual lst.

I recommend a larger auto, with more sativa in it. ;)
Yes, you can scrog them, though that anchors the plant.

One of the pros here, builds the scrog onto the pot, so he can take it out of the grow area.
It's an entry by TheRooster, in the plant of the month thread.

I refrain from shamelessly hijacking Pt's thread with unrelated media.

Are these the auto daquiris? Is that why you have them straight in the big pot because theyre autos?
yes and yes ... it is possible to transplant autos but its a gamble every time and since i follow or try to follow the philosophy of good roots make good plants

lst and scrog are in a sense the same so thatll work fine on autos ... but like Phobos said you better go for a fast growing sativa strain

i am contemplating whether to give them a light feed tonight or wait till day 10 ... anyone wanna chip in ?
I forgot arenu in coco or soil? I dont know much about coco but im sure you can feed a lot earlier. If youre in soil id say no. Unless its a really weak potting mix
