actually that was the amount of cocos i had left when i started her ... now i have extra ready to topdress as soon as she gets a bit larger

day 38 from seed

wow its been a while since i updated my grow with Wild Wilma ( WW auto btw  ) and boy it has been wild ...
so last friday i was at a friends place, our favourite location to puffpuffpass some time with a bunch of friends, so obvious i came home late and was to medicated to check in on Wilma, she was last fed the evening before so i figured no harm would be done if i postponed her next feed to 10am next morning...
So when i walked in on her my heart literally stopped for a few seconds as my joy and pride was laying flopped over to the side , exactly as my last attempt keeled over she did to ...
Now the positive thing was that she was still actually thriving and over the course of 1 and a half day she was already perking up again towards the light.
After carefull inspection and assessment i concluded that i probably uprooted her from watering to forcefully, luckily for me the exposed roots at her base were still flexible and basically just bended and by doing so caused virtually no stress at all to her.
I did had to stand her up again as i cant have her just laying on the soil, so i supported her base with three palmsized white pebbles along with a top dress of fresh coco.
And although she is still a bit wobbly she stayed upright ever since and been doing quiet well if i may say.
In the first picture taken 24h hours earlier you see her loving life and reach for the light.
she is quiet a bushy gal so i also proceeded to slowly remove some fan leafs cuz they where blocking way to much light from the sideshoots.
In the last picture just taken after lights out she is seen wilting but she has been doing that for a few days ago and i presume it is the first sign of a slow transition into stretch and flower.

day 41 from seed

she is turning into a bush now and she is starting to produce some faint smells as well .... flower must be knocking at the door.
she started to alternate her nodes and it seems she is growing in an accelerated pace...
the internodes are amazingly short as well ...

:Namaste:

Good save :thumb:

This time you had room for two plants because you got the lettuce pheno!
oh hello there Shed how are ye doing ... ive been reading some stuff over in your thread but tbh im not much online lately ...
on the save ... it scared the living *bleep* out of me ... but ye she made it ... i couldnt handle two failures in a row so she had to ... :ganjamon:

btw now that i have your attention ( i hope ;) ) i need your judgement...

so today is day 43 from seed for my bae and i wonder wether i shall call her in flower or almost...
sorry she looks a bit droopy but my plants all do that a few hours before lights out ...

tonight :

last night close ups:

wadaya think ...?

:Namaste:

I don't call that in flower, I call that showing sex. I wait until I see pistils coming out of the new growth before I consider it in flower. Based on the second to last pic, it won't be long now.
yea i thought so ... anyway shes taking her time yet again ... its starting to become a theme with me hehe ... thx shed luv ya :ganjamon:

Hey PT, evenin to ya... :passitleft:Wat Shed said...still many days away from 'bloom' start.
U mentioned u thought your girls were a lil droopy cuz of the time. Wat was/is your photoperiod?
you mean 18/6 ? lights out is at midnight and they start the droop about two hours before that ... the following pics are taken just now ( approx 6 pm ) here she still looks sporty and all ...

shes turning into a stout one but something tells me she may still blow up a lot coming weeks

She’s already blowed up from the last time I saw her.
aye indeed she has lets see
today is day 44 from seed she looks like this

on day 38 she looked like this ... thats 6 days ago!

and this is on day 30 ... like only two weeks ago ... dayum ... looking at it like this changes perspective lol

:Namaste:

Ya PT..the reason i asked is because next grow u might wanna consider doing 16/8 instead of 18/6.
Those last two hrs. serve basically NO purpose.
But u need to start veg. on those hrs and not switch half way thru.
I have been growing 16/8 for many yrs and have discovered those last 2 hrs are just a big waste of electricity.
I have found NO reasons to go back to 18 hrs. My crops speak for themselves at 16/8.
Cheers.
