Pterostychus: The Never Ending Story, Now Jack Herer

anyway so i culled that affected nug gave it a rough trim and she truned out a beauty ... its a pitty sit came off but the affected flower was feeling mushy so i dont want it to be an entrance for botrytis

At least you'll have a sample that can put you in the ball park. Remember when you think she's done give her 1 more week.
hehe yeye im still toking on some great Glueberry OG and Colorado Cookies so im not in a hurry ... just sober (yeah right) remarks but without looking at trichs thats just very crude circumstantial evidence

ok ... i had a good look at the nug i just took off and she is still mostly clear almost nothing else to be found, some milky but less then 1% and also a few ambers but that was in the damaged area so maybe from lamp heat
so yeah ... lets look again in one week and yea she will probably go two weeks still ...

this babe is gonna be a bitch to trim ...
Start plucking fan leaves off about the final week. You would be surprised what is left......not much if you pluck all the fans away. Relatively easy trimming after that. Perhaps you will get lucky and have one that will eat its leaves the last month of flower and you won't even have to pluck!

i dunno ive seen the getting smaller of the newer leafs on every plant i kept sofar
Most plants do that once they start flowering....regardless of indica or sativa (according to Robert Clarke) which also matches what i have seen on all my plants. Though I will say you notice it less on Sativas because they are generally thin all the way through.

Hi @dynamo1 and @Van Stank thanks for stopping by

yea shes a handfull ... or probably more like a bucketfull ... hehe fingers crossed .. this specimen is also particularly frosty ... i like ... i cant wait to smoke her when shes all finished and cured ... i am looking forward to smoking a skunk probably the first ever since the mid 90s

day 98 from seed, day 43 from seed

yesterday was week 6 in flower so i treated myself to a spacecupcake... as a result i got hammered and my girl got neglected :ganjamon: but boy was that a ride, first edible for me in like 20+ years lol
Anyway, she survived and is now in her 7th week of flower, as you can see from the pistils she is almost ready, i havent checked her trichs yet but i did get informed on her and the breeder says she keeps many clear pistils into harvest ... something to keep in mind when i check trichs the coming days
also more and more colas are flopping over ... i try to give em support but this plant is to big to handle decently

Not an indica trait, is it?
true ... but still it's what they claim

A large proportion of this strain’s resin glands remain clear all the way through harvest and the drying process, and under magnification they can actually refract tiny rainbows!
