You have a great thread going here

I am gonna watch your grow.

I run pretty much the same nutes as you do.

I drop the B52 during bloom
and I use F1 and Sensizyme.

But I run a chiller,
so you probly need the Voodoo and carbo load.

Vitaboost and B52 might be redundant.

Your plants look amazing.;)

I hope you can sex them soon.

Another hint.

Never put your pH probe into RO

This means you cannot pH adjust RO.

So when you do your week long flush,
just use Plain RO.

The reason we need to have the pH down in the 5.6 area,
is to make certain micro-nutrients available to the plant.

All of these micros are metals,
and their uptake is difficult,
if not impossible,
unless the pH is correct.

During the final flush,
we are just keeping the plant from dying of thirst,
but not trying to feed it any more nutrients,
so the pH is irrelevant,
although you don't want it too high or too low.

Plain RO is perfect,
and allows the plant
to consume the nutrients
it has already taken in
and stored in the leaves and roots.

So save your pH probe
and don't try to pH adjust RO.
.

~Hey thanks for the great advice but I am still a noob as this is my first grow and I dont understand, "Never put your pH probe into RO" - What is RO? and why should my probe never go into it? also I thought I could already sex the plants and thought they were all female..now you have me slightly concerned if not only because i worry about everything.. I am going to take some pics of why I think they are female and post a couple let me know what you guys think! Also to get the seeds it took around two weeks.~

Ok here they are:

RO or distilled water or De-ionized water
are all the same thing as for as grwoing is concerned.
so we use the term RO
since that is what moSt growers use.
Ro is water
that has been processed
through a reverse osmosis membrane.

I bought my machine on ebay for about $150
I have a 5 stage Ro machine.

Your pH probe has some wires and fluid inside of the glass,
you can see this on some of them.
Anyway this fluid inside your probe
is called "reference fluid"

This fluid has a large amount
of free ions from silver.

There is a "ceramic junction"
which lets ions flow from your nutes
and these ions are compared to the reference fluid and give you a measure of the pH.

If you place your probe into De-ionized water,
the free silver ions can flow out through the ceramic junction
and then your probe is faulty.
Every time you check the pH of RO,DI distilled water,
you will loose more of the ions in your reference fluid.

If you store your probe
you should make sure it stays moist
or the ceramic junction can fail.

You should store it in 4.01 calibration fluid
or RO mixed with as much table salt as you can mix into it.

You want a lot of free ions on the outside of the probe,
Saltwater has a lot of ions.

pH is: the potential of the Hydrogen ions
of your nutrient fluid.

When you add pure RO to your nutes,
there is no free ions in the RO
so it will take on the pH of the fluid you add it to.

You cannot adjust the pH of RO, DI or distilled water.
Once you add the acid or base,
you don't have RO any more.

~So are you telling me that I should just ph balance my nute mix and then add it and it should be good don't check it the rest of the week or it will make my ph pen faulty? Because so far I have kept my ph probe submersed in electrode storage solution when im not using it and before I do I rinse it off with tap water with it off quickly then I calibrate it using calibration solution (havent had to recalibrate yet it has stayed spot on I just keep checking) and then I test my mix of 40 L distilled water that has been mixed with my nutes and then I always have to use ph down to bring it down to 5.6. I may just be being an uber noob and could maybe get those answers from what you have already written me but can you just clear me up please and thank you.~

nice work on the info. I am always interested in what other nute lines are doing in other grows. I hope you have a great yeild!

~Well after alot of reading I felt that another couple nutrients were in order so I went out today and I purchased some Sensizym and Final Phase and then due to my impulsiveness I also splurged on some tarantula and piranha powder lol. From some grow journals I have read on 420magazine.com and other sites tarantula and piranha are absolutely incredible products for getting massive root development so I kinda wish I had of had them for this grow but I am excited to use them on the next!~

Don't open the Piranha or tarantula.
Take them back and get your money
You do not need them
They are the same thing as Voodoo,
which you already have.
Sensizyme is good.
Trade the Other two products for some F1(fulvic acid)
.

~I'm not saying your wrong as you obviously know a ton but I don't really understand how they are the same... "The piranha contains 6 Myccorrhizal Fungi Strains and 2 Strains of Trichoderma while Tarantula contains 19 Strains of Microorganisms including Bacillus, Streptomycetes and Pseudomanas and there are over 1.4 billion per gram while voodoo juice says it has 5 select plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. The three beneficials interact symbiotically each helps the others to perform better."

Okay so that's not me talking that's advanced nutrients talking do you think it is all just talk that sounds nice?:rollit:

Here is experiece talking.

You don't need any of them
if you keep your rez cool and clean.

If you run a sloppy show,
then the beneficial bacteria can help clean up your act.

But you don't need them
and they are very very expensive.

The Piranha and the Tarantula are gritty
and work better for soil or soiless growing.

Can't recommend them for hydro.

The F1 is a better investment.
It's your money.
