Still look a little naked but they are definitely growing

I'll ride along. Good job on the details n photos. The making of a good journal
Thanks BuckeyeJ! I'm trying to keep things a bit interesting. It's been fun so far but I have a feeling with this one that the best is yet to come. Welcome aboard my friend :)

Looks like it may be a New Years harvest though.
That sounds like a great way to bring in the New Year then!! Ha! Will you post how much each one weighs in at, after all is said and done?

Hey 420! Well they seem to be recovering with little drama. Some of them have taken it really well and a few are a bit lacking but there is still time for recovery. In fact I think that there may even be enough time left over for another topping but I'm not promising anything on that one. The algae is still troubling me. I've read about people getting deficiencies because roots are being choked by the algael growth. I'm sure that when I bury the cubes then the roots will punch through and be ok, it's just a case of getting them to that stage. It's not long mind but long enough for algae to grow. I might just use some card to make a lid to slide over the top of the cubes. PH is 5.7 and they are on 25ml of Cannazyme per 10lt of water. Feeding at 0.5 EC also. well that's all for now, see you all soon :)

Hey professor how come you don't put them in the system straight away? If your not using organics or beneficial bacteria I think it would be worth using some hydrogen peroxide something like silver bullet is great and will get rid of the algae.

Hey 420! Sorry guys. Had a few technical issues so I haven't been online for a few days. Thanks @eldorado303 ive been lucky with my selection, it's not often I plant 10 seeds and get 10 healthy plants in return. Hey @Lewydeville. The reason they haven't gone in yet is because I still have 10 plants flowering in there. I give them 2 weeks. I was going to put some card over them to prevent light hitting the cubes. I'll look into getting some Hydrogen Peroxide though. It grows so fast. Here are some pics for you guys :)

I keep forgetting you've got the two journals on the go, of course that's why they aren't in the system! I blame it on the weed lol. They bounced back superbly professor. I used silver bullet during summer and can recommend it. I use the spray to clean my tents as well.

I shouldn't of put them in so early. The reason I did was to allow time to sort out any issues and give the girls a bit of a head start. I realise the irony in the fact that the problems are being caused by the additional time spent in the cubes. One option I'm considering if I can't get any peroxide in time is shaving the outside of the cubes and removing a couple millimetres. If I do that though I'll have to do it soon to allow for a week recovery time before flower. Once they are planted the plant enzymes that I use should sort it all out :passitleft:

I read in the blueberry thread that you use cannazym that will do the trick. If you do get some hydrogen peroxide don't use it together with your beneficial bacteria and some flower boosters as it will kill them as well.

They look a bit funny now though GT. I think that the ones on the left may be to small. I'm such a stoner :)

I thought I'd try to shade them to prevent light hitting the cubes but the sides aren't really protected very well. The plants do not seem at all bothered by the algae which is quite bad in places. Infact I'm already planning their next topping. If I'm lucky I'll get to top a few of them again but it's not a definite but they are growing really fast and depending on when the other plants finish up I may be forced to take action again. This is so much fun. Happy growing y'all :)

good to know you're having fun, and everything is coming along. how do you intend to manage their size?
maybe because there's not much light, they'll grow less? do let me know, if you have the chance.
