This is what I came up with for the time being.
Specs:
- 35" x 4" (90cm x 10cm)
- 4000k "cool white"
- 3000 lumen
- 30watt draw
- £8 ($10.50 USD)
I picked up 4 of these, and I think they will do the trick. I tried the garden shop, but they didn't really have the right options. A Mars 96 would have been overkill, a Mars TS 600 would have also been a bit much and only rated for 2x2. Either way, I wasn't in the mood or mindset to spend $100+ per light to start clones/seedlings, and veg some mothers.
I plan to use 2 lights per 1x3 level, which should be alright I think. I'll have to double check it with my lux meter, but should be fine. If not, I can get another one and run 3 per level.
The 4000k isn't quite as blue as I would like, but it's also not quite into the more yellow 3000k-3500k either. They should be alright.
Also picked up a couple small packs of clonex gel. Going to make use of the toppings the RDWC girls are getting tonight/tomorrow.
