ProfessorFlora Presents: The Flowering Inferno

Another lovely harvest just around the corner!
The Orange Cane looks soooo good and like Shed mentioned great camera work as usual!
Hey N! This harvest shouldn't be too difficult and I'm looking forward to it. Next we have 7 more plants hitting flower but this time in coco.
Hope you're well buddy.

I’m doing well Prof, been outside today in this lovely spring weather we are having getting the yard cleaned up and gardens ready for planting a few veggies!

It does look like those ladies you have will be a nice group to trim up! I bet you will have some great scissor hash from them. I am nearing the harvest window with the ladies in my tent as well, it’s been about 8 months since I’ve had a harvest of my own so really looking forward to it!

Happy 420, N!

I started doing some work in the garden last month and have loads of seedlings and seeds ready to go outside. We are likely to be free from frost now so it's official. The spring is in full swing!

I bet you can't wait for that harvest lol. It's Gorilla Zkittles as well so even better. I'd like to do another one of those though I did see that Barney's Farm have released several new strains recently. I might have to grab some and run some more sponsors gear soon.

Happy 420 Prof! Good luck with the rest of your harvest, hopefully your enjoying some scissor hash right about now!
I think I was. I tried it out in the Dynavap this time with no problems. I had to sandwich it between two slices of Big Bomb which helped it to vaporise evenly. It was nice and strong and just the thing for after a harvest. Cheers N.
Count me in! VERY late but who's keeping tabs anyway right?!
Lol. Certainly not me. I'm not even sure how many plants I have at the moment. Welcome BA.

Haaa haaaa...not a bad problem to have IF you can handle it. I'm too ADD and get distracted and forget about stuff. Another reason why I'm going to keep my garden small this year. 4 plants indoors and a few outdoors. We'll see how it goes!

I made myself some similar promises but it's just such a dynamic hobby. The only thing I really want to do this year is make some seeds. I have several female regular plants but no males yet lol.

Hey 420. So as we all know, yesterday was 4/20 and I decided that it was as good a time as any to clear out my grow room and get things back in order. That meant it was harvest time. Here are the final pics of the three recent plants to be flowered....

And here they are out of the tent....

My camera was playing up a bit last night so I didn't get many pics of the plants as they were being cut down but I did get these pics of them hanging up....

The harvest itself was a peaceful one and it didn't take too long. There was as usual a few surprises when taking the plants down. It's clear to see now that the NLxS will be the heaviest by some way. I knew that thing was a wild card. Smallest plant, highest yield. The OC is the reverse. Largest plant, lowest yield. Melon Gum has some super tight and beautifully scented flowers and I will not be surprised if that one turns out to be my favourite once they hit the jars. Overall I'm quite happy. It wasn't the best grow I have had in a while but there was relatively little stress which is all I'm asking for at the moment lol. Next up we will be doing the Big Bomb and Bubba's Breath strain reports and I have to show you all what is hitting the inferno next. I warn you though, @HashGirl. There will be a few ugly pics until I can work my magic.

Happy growing everyone.

I will try to be patient during any ugliness. :battingeyelashes: No promises though. :laughtwo:

Looking forward to the smoke report.

Awesome harvest and congrats! They look tasty. I'm jealous. What is your preferred curing method?

I wanted to produce some seeds last year with a couple CBD dominant males I got but I just couldn't manage it correctly. I think I must have missed the window on pollinating the ladies I wanted to cross. Oh well. Maybe I'll try again this year but I'm not sure if I will yet. I want to put as much energy and focus as possible on the GSC grow. I really want to knock that out of the park if I can.

Congratulations Prof on some beautiful meds. A bit of something old school and some exotic wild cards too.
Pretty :battingeyelashes:
Thanks DD! Variety is always nice. I think the old school genetics will probably win this one. The Melon Gum (Lavender X Bubblegum) smells and looks fantastic and the Northern Lights X Skunk isn't too far behind. The Orange Cane looks the part but doesn't smell as good. There won't be much of it either so old school for the win. At least so far.

Looking forward to the smoke report.
Should I just wait until the second week of flower before I put anymore pics up?
Congrats on taking them all down and once and clearing out the tent for the next round! And I don't care which the top producer is since none of them are mine. All I can see is pictures and for my money, it's Orange Cane for the win. :cheesygrinsmiley:
The OC will probably be potent and tasty but I'm watching those buds disappear as they dry. I have another in coco just about to hit flower so we will see if we can bump those yields with some larger plants.
Awesome harvest and congrats! They look tasty. I'm jealous. What is your preferred curing method?
Thanks BA. My preferred curing method is to simply jar the buds and then burp until they feel good. Then I leave them in the jars for a week before checking again. Sometimes they are good and sometimes the get a bit damp again. If they are good I just keep checking them weekly. If not then I empty them onto a tray to dry for a little while. My problem is that I have a hungry family and buds rarely make it longer than a month in the jars. I do put samples away though which no one knows about and can get to a few months old.

Same here. I failed an attempt because of high humidity or at least that is what I suspect. It was 100% RH and every surface had water beading on it. Crazy growing conditions! This year we have a dehumidifier lol.

I went to the local zoo (not the dinosaur park, Shed) yesterday with the family and I saw something which made me think....

Now,I don't know about you guys but if I worked at the zoo and needed somewhere to medicate on my lunch break. They'd be like "Prof, you're spending a lot of time near the maned wolves which is odd as you work in the cafeteria".
