Oooh that should be a fun project! I would definitely be interested in learning how to do something like that in the future. For now I'm just trying to get my growing technique down. And yes I would love any recipes you can share!

Do you have a recipe for butter or oil to be used in edibles? I've got a pretty easy one. Then that can be used in all kinds of foods.

I do have a recipe but I was thinking about tweaking it by adding lecithin to make it more potent

Hmmm. I did not know lecithin would make it more potent. That's interesting. Maybe you could add less butter, and replace that amt with lecithin. Interesting. So you decarboxylate your buds before you make butter? Did you know you can put abv in with the buds to make the butter?

Pink or Donny's Flowers Clones below are 27 days old, all unknown because my gramps didn't keep track of the strains during transplant. Should make for a nice surprise during flower since they're easily distinguishable when that starts.

Yup, I decarb at 240°F for ~60 mins. What's abv?

I place ~1oz decarboxylated bud in a crock pot on warm with 1.5 cups coconut oil for 24 hours. Stir every hour if/when possible

Abv stands for already been vaped. It's the left over weed that was vaped. It's not as potent as decarbed buds, but will add a little extra kick to it.

Thanks guys for the compliments! They sure have been yummy and maintaining my high during this busy time. It's back to school time for me...again haha. Finally embarking on my senior year of uni! I'm so excited for this next year especially for the plants I will be growing!

Premed Congrats on your harvest and good luck on your future harvest, your plants look great. Im subbed in on this journal, I'm also interested in bud washing when i harvest my crop so its great to hear your opinion on the technique. Ill be watching closely from here on out. Thanks for the compliments, Zo! It's always nice to have more people sharing the love in my garden I personally loved the bud washing aspect of harvest. The aromas of fresh squeezed lemon juice and freshly cut cannabis had my nose in heaven!

I tossed 3 clones that were transplanted to the 5 gallons over the last week because they just weren't keeping the pace compared to their sisters. It's always sad to let some ladies go but they're taking up precious real estate and valuable supplies. I think I have plenty of other ladies that will be even better in their place. I also gave a friend of mine 4 clones because I didn't have the space for them/don't need that many clones of those strains (Pink/DF). She's really excited to start her first grow and it's starting to look good in her garden. She's been updating me via snap chat

My brother told me he'd buy another grow light for us but I'm not sure if he was for real or just had too many drinks. I'll have to check with him again because I really want to complete the lighting in this tent.

Quick Update!

Jah Kush has been moved into the flower tent to start producing some buds! Im very excited to see how she turns out I also watered the flowering plants according to my recipe from a few posts ago. They seem to be digging the formula so I'll keep them on it for now. I also watered the veg plants with CaliMagic and ArmorSi. I placed an order for aloe powder so I will start adding that in on non-feeding days as well. I might even skip the calmag ArmorSi altogether if I use aloe and coconut water on those days instead.

Anyways here are some pics!

I'll post a full update tomorrow when the new light comes in for the veg tent!

New light came in today! She's puuurdy but my picture doesn't do her justice

I transplanted all of the seedlings I started on 7/14 into 5gal pots with coco coir and granular mycorrhizae.
