Pound per plant

After sleeping on this. I have to say that led is the future.
To replace the bulbs alone you can add a led to the grow room now that the cost is down.
As mentioned the light Im using is cheap.
The maintenance of hps is to high.
At the end of the year I can get two more led lights at the replacement cost of hps light bulbs.
This create more coverage at lower cost. With out all The radio waves.
 
This is a three week old incredible bulk.its about 7 inches tall. In three more weeks I'm hoping for 18 to 20 inch. Not a jungle we all have dreams

This is why when I ran 3 huge ballasts for my HID, I ran Lumatek... Good stuff, that. I am a Ham Operator and know all about radio waves. Lumateks are shielded quite well, and at a higher frequency than normal. Good stuff... the Amateur bands are silent around my place... can't hardly even tell when they were on.
Used to be that we feared the FLIR radar that can look for heat signatures inside a building and through walls. HID provided a huge footprint that could be seen through my roof from a helicopter. LED, not so much.
 
Ook. Just my two cents. Took ten clones and veg under 300w LED for nine weeks. Then then put all ten in a 2.5*2.5*5.2 foot tent with a 1000w LED. They are 38" tall from floor to tops. And now week one flower of a ten week flower.

Oh and they're in 2lt hempy with 100% perlite
