hey fish they don't look happy finicky sativas i don't have any experience with clones but i would have to think you would want a real weak soil to get them started in i wouldn't think the black gold would be to hot but maybe talk to woody he can help you or conrad i called on him today because my tut isn't happy good luck man!

It's 70 F and sunny here today so all the girls get to see the sun! They're loving it! This has been a great grow so far and I am sure weather like this is going to help! I think it is day 18 in flower.

Took me awhile but now caught up from the start Lazyfish. Good journal & growing. Damn nice gardening all the way & see you like lots of strains. NCW's "Plucking" Genius is actually "Puckin" Genius....lol. Don't matter...I just get a kick out of "plucking" every time I see that. Killer looking Black Dog. You know on your clones?......I'd check soil....a slurry test will give you soil pH & TDS. I know many organic folks think I'm nutty/stupid to bother with pH & TDS but I'm organics only & it sure helps me out. Bad pH f**ks up a lot of things.....even in organics. :Namaste:

Can you tell me about the slurrry test? I have a small pH meter and tds meter.

It's funny. I can throw any other clone in that soil and it does fine. I love this Dr. but I think I got a bad pheno but I think you are right about the soil. I threw one clone into seedling soil and it has not bounced back yet. Maybe tomorrow...

Mix small soil sample...2 oz is plenty. Mix in slightly more neutral water, 2.5 oz. I use distilled. Stir it up. Wait at least 15 min., not longer than 25 min. & stir a couple times during the wait. Then test TDS & pH of mixed soil & water. Results will reflect soil pH & TDS. :Namaste:
