And I'm with brother Dankman, I'd love to see you grow some ol' retro style Super Skunk like they had back in the 70's if at all possible, well if having access to the seeds that is which is a main ingredient obviously.:yummy:
 
With this past two months of life being pretty rough, I neglected my plants some. These crosses I did are starting to pull out of it. Most of the plants in the first pic are Jack's Cleaner 2 x Jack the Ripper, and the plants in the second pic are Mendocino Purple Kush S1 and Mendocino Channel Kush x Mendocino Purple Kush:

None of the Rafael seeds or the Original Haze x Skunk #1 seeds opened up, but the rest of the seeds I mentioned above did. A few of them popped open and didn't do any more, but I planted them anyway. I'm going to germinate the rest of those Rafael seeds and hope for the best. And maybe I'll look in my freebies to see what I can replace the other four with. :thumb:
 
Good luck with the seeds. I was sorting through seeds from my Chernobyl F2's I made. 4 males and one female. Lost the clone to the only female, sucks. Ill have to try a reveg if its worthy :D so far its skinny leafs and flowering like a turtle. When I saw the skinny leafs I was worried about it stretching too much, so I flipped it small. Now hardly stretching at all

Hello PotChimp. Nice strain choices. I enjoy all the different new strains that are coming up these days but I’m drawn to the oldschool strains for some reason. Mind if I tag along? Plants look great. Will definitely be headed back to the beginning of your thread to catch up. Peace.

I don't mind at all. I wish I had the time to post more and this all would be easier for people to follow. Those old school strains are hard to find; I've been looking for a good Chem cut for a while.

Just dropping in to say hey and see what cool projects you are working on currently... That JTR looks absolutely amazing! what a gorgeous plant!!!

Sorry to see the issues with germination you have had... I've had a few times I couldn't get some seeds to pop and I used a knife and scraped the seed crease to manually help them crack, then put them back in some water on a heating element and it seems to help those seeds that don't crack. Not sure if this helps, but figured I would suggest it :)

I'm also looking for some Chem in my life. Working with some Alien Antifreeze and some Roasted Garlic Margy so fingers crossed to get a male as a pollen donor.

I think it's these seeds to be honest. All the AC/DC seeds I tried to germinate from this same CBD pack I bought did the same thing. I tried all the old tricks, too. :)
And these Original Haze x Skunk #1 seeds are probably ten years old or more. Hell, I haven't even heard of seeds from that breeder (Sam the Skunkman) in a long time. I've got a few seeds of Skunk #1 from Flying Dutchman Seeds, but I've grown the seeds before and unless you know somebody that builds hemp hang gliders you're not gonna get high from it..... :straightface:

So far not one of those seeds I retried opened up. I'm going to dump the rest of these Rafael seeds into a paper towel, but I don't expect any better results. If those all fail I'm going with my Juanita La Lagrimosa reg seeds to cover that, and I haven't decided what to replace the four original Haze x Skunk #1 seeds with (probably old freebies). I might use up these last C99 seeds; they're from Dr Greenthumb (pricey), and they're pretty old too.

Legend of '91 - Bought them from Seeedbayy a few years back before they got busted; not sure who the breeder is. I grew some of them before, and a few hermied.
Golden Goat - Free from TSSC's old website (from their Platinum Collection); not sure who the breeder is. The genetics sound good.
C99 - Dr. Greenthumb; grew them twice before and liked the weed, but in the second grow one hermied.
Super Skunk - Sensi Seeds; grew them before and liked the weed, but nothing smelled the way I was hoping.

I picked two Sensi Seeds Jack Herer reg seeds and two (not sure of the breeder here either) Hawaiian Skunk Haze reg seeds to replace Sam the Skunkman's $hit..... :straightface:

I'll roll them all to their side on that paper towel and push down a little to crack them later on tonight when I get more time. I'm going to germinate two more C99 fem and two Juanita La Lagrimosa fem seeds if none of them open.
 
All of these are starting to come out of mild transplant shock and going into bloom. I treated one Mendocino Purple Kush clone with STS and pollinated a second MPK clone, along with a Mendocino Channel Kush clone:
