PotChimp's Side Projects

The leaf stems on this plant are as thick as a normal stem, so it wouldn't surprise me if one took. I swapped those two plants out just now and put the GTH#1 back into veg. Being a chimp, I feel obligated to give the leaf thing a try.
Here's my next STS project; two Mendocino Purple Kush plants to do a selfing, and one Mendocino Channel Kush to do a cross:

They've all got a while to veg before they're big enough for this, so I've got time to order the solution.

Speaking of which, my next upcoming grow is doing a little poorly. All five of the Jack the Ripper plants and the one Jack's Cleaner 2 plant are doing okay, but all seven of the SLH x Blueberry crosses I did and all three Blue Dream plants are getting too big for the small pots they're in. I'll get them into bigger pots this week. :thumb:

You have great genetics! I'd like to try JTR and Jacks Cleaned 2. Lmk how your slhxbb turns out. Who is the bd from? You may like Nurse Jackie, I think home grown wonders has it.

My undersink RO system is shot; I'm struggling to get three gallons of water out of it a day. I ordered one, but it's taking its time getting here. I might have to let tap water set out a while in a bucket to use for my plants.
Here's two of my GTH#1 S1s:

This GTH#1 pheno looks different:

I fed this Blackberry Trainwreck once more; I'll chop it in about 10-12 days:

Do you by chance know if chloramine will evaporate like chlorine if you let it sit out? I have also read that humic acid neutralises chlorine but am unsure if this is true or if it works the same with chloramine. Unfortunately my water supply has chloramine in it and Idk how to get rid of it easily. I have also read that one can use vitamin C tablets in a bathtub or the like and the chlorine will sink to bottom as sediment.

No, chloramine can actually become more concentrated if you let it set out; it doesn't evaporate. That's interesting about the vitamin C. :nerd-with-glasses:

Yikes about the chloramine. That's good to know though. I think I found the vitamin C info on one of Emilyas threads but I could be wrong. I am unsure who said it though. It was def on this site.

Well, Mr. Dover, I won't be buying water purification products from you any time soon.....
My Ghost Train Haze #1 S1s; 1st two (almost exactly like the mother):

3rd one; not sure because it's too soon:

4th one; different than the mother:

The 5th one looks different than the mother too, and the 6th one is still in veg (I'm waiting for one of those weird leaves to grow out more so I can clone it).
Packed in a corner Apollo 13 f2:

Blackberry Trainwreck:

Almost as tall as me Killer A5 Haze:

I took four clones similar to this one. The first clone I removed the leaf completely and planted it with the petiole going into the ground. The second clone I left the leaf on and planted it the same way, but I trimmed the ends of the leaf blades off. The third and fourth clones I planted them both with the leaf left on the petiole and left untrimmed:
