I thought I'd start out with the light stuff and work my way up.

You kill me Chimp! Have you ever looked at any of CSI:Humboldt's gear? NSpecta (the breeder that runs the company) is well respected in Cali. He has been doing a lot of S1 releases lately including Triangle Kush and Chem 91. I would liek to get my hands on both. He also has a Purple Urkle S1 he has been working on as well. I ran his Mendo Purple Urkle (Mendo Purps x Purple Urkle) for a couple of rounds. It was nice and purple but moved really slow and did not have the structure I was after. I only ran the one seed though. Urkle is notorious for moving slow but has been around for a long time so there has to be a reason.

There are a couple pics of her. She smelt amazing, very fruity. If I can find a faster moving one that isnt as leafy I would keep it around for a long time.

Leafy plants look nice but they don't yield well. I'm hopin I get something that dark out of these GDPs I'm breeding.

Yeah the slow veg and low yield are what killed it for me. That and trimming it was a bitch! You think you have some nice solid nugs and BAM! all larf

I open pollinated the last Nevil's Haze plant I grew with Apollo 13 f2 pollen, thinking I had good control because there was so little pollen and I didn't breath very hard to get it to drift onto the bud. I checked out this Eva Seeds Monster plant today to jar it up, and there's seeds from top to bottom:

It's was right next to the Nevil's Haze plant, and it's like brickweed there's so many.
I'll probably look for any buds that aren't seedy (if there are any) and dry sift the rest. I won't do an open pollination like that in a full tent again.

This is very timely. I have that Chocolope that I sprayed with STS ( f’n phone just went and autocorrected that to STD, thanks a lot phone ) It’s got male flowers all over but I’m not noticing any pollen. In the meantime it’s screwing up my plans in the room it’s in.
I’ve been thinking all day today about just putting it in the main flowering room and trying to wall it off a little from the other plants and turning off the movement fans? Stupid idea I guess.

Yeah, pollen is so light, it'll drift even without the fan. I slam the door on my locker when a male and female are in it to pollinate; just the wind from the door kicks up a cloud. Or shove the female into the male and close the door as fast as I can!

I know how pollen acts under normal circumstances. Been there too. In this case the plant is not producing any visible pollen to speak of and there are no signs it’s self pollinating. Under the microscope the flowers look completely barren. If it is producing any at all the pollen grain count must be very small - small enough that.... what could possibly go wrong....

I guess I’ll spray it with ‘STD’ a bit more and leave it in the room it’s in. It will probably continue to screw up my life whichever way I go.

I have a male I let get too big. It's almost ready to drop pollen. Hopefully I can contain it

I remember another GDP plant that did that to me when I selfed it. The whole main flower was a giant cluster of male flowers that never opened. I didn't get a single seed from it.
I just chopped and put a Chocolope plant into reveg today. It grew the same way you talked about before; where there's either one or three bladed leaves.

Yeah if I get a bunch of seeds from this Chocolope I will discontinue this particular one and start a new one and see if it’s any different. Last one I flowered looked like a mutant with weird lumpy foxtails and blobular lumps shooting off in every direction. After I jarred the bud it all disintegrated and fell apart into mini-nugs about the size of peas. Very weird.

They showed a bunch of those grackles Graytail and I were talking about once swarming a parking lot down in Texas on TV. A lady was pushing her cart and there were about twenty of 'em sitting on every car looking at her Thousands everywhere! I would have walked back in bought every cheap wally world bag of cheez curlz on the shelf and drove through the parking lot dumping every one of 'em!
