It was pollen. Of course it had pollen in it - duh. Anyway it wasn’t a pinch. It was a lot. A lot of pollen.

Was going to say youll have half ready cake mix buds, then thought eer mouldy flour, then thought err mould?

You started out good. Should have stayed with the cake. Let’s think about cake.

I thought it was a way to use limited amount of pollen. Flour as an extender. Mould was a quick thought process. Hundreds of plants? I've never had to, only few plants at time, always had half male plant and sandwich bag pollen left over.

Yeah i wasn’t thinking to extend the pollen. It just seems like a good way to stabilize it a bit. Flies around less. Or something.
Ummm... I can’t think of any other good selling points that I haven’t mentioned already- re the deep frying and cake. It makes it easy to see which ones you’ve (maybe) pollinated?

Whatever. I’m not taking the pollen back out of the flour now. Ask PotChimp. It was his idea.

That type shit pisses me off, means I don't do that..it makes me laugh, means I enjoy watching, especially people I like, fuck about for no apparent reason ( in my existence) with little experiments and what not, that maybe I might benefit from in future or they wrecking their shit, which is also funny, not nasty, better to laugh than cry funny...

I've had bad luck every time I try to pollinate by hand. I don't try it much anymore. I read an article that said to mix pollen with olive oil and paint it onto the buds (it didn't work). I've tried Q-tips and they don't work well either. I can't even keep a male plant alive; it pollinates, dries up, and I can't get it to reveg.

I guess it's supposed to be a way to pollinate one plant without hitting the rest of the plants in the tent.

Thanks PC. So flour wasn’t your idea. Hmmm- I can’t remember who, then. I see flour recommended a bunch on the forum- doesn’t mean it works of course but I guess I’ll find out. I figured it would make it easier to apply to one bud and not fly around. Which it does. But how could olive oil possibly work? I’ll have to do search on that. Sounds all wrong...

I can't remember where I read it years ago, but it didn't work. I even tried it with another paint brush without using olive oil and that didn't work either.

If I hold a sheet of cardboard up it would block some of the light that messes these pics up (I can see how the shaded flowers underneath in these pics look more true to the real color):

I think I'll use this granular chicken manure I have to grow Chocolope plants from now on. They seem to gobble Ca and that stuff has like 9% in it. This one has spots on the shade leaves:

Thanks man I've been having pretty good luck lately.
Man, I'm glad it's Labor Day Weekend and not Neighbor Day Weekend. Every time I'm in the garage smoking a blunt and the hamburgers on my grill catch fire 'cause I'm not paying attention, I flip 'em into my neighbor's swimming pool to put 'em out. For some reason he doesn't consider that neighborly.....
