PotChimp's Side Projects

All of these are either done or pretty close.
Apollo 13 f2:

Juanita La Lagrimosa:

Y Griega reveg:

Mendocino Purple Kush:

Original Sour Diesel:

This one's just getting started (Cannabis Afghanica reveg):

Ghost Train Haze #1 (purple leaf pheno):

Other Ghost Train Haze #1 pheno (you can see the purple leaf of the first pheno to the right):

Dr. Grinspoon branch; one of many:

R4 :cough:

Super Lemon Haze (a leaf got in the way):

Apollo 13 f2:

Nevil's Haze; main cola:

Two of the three Tikal plants that I have left are female. The last one looks female too, so I put them all under HPS (two of them are getting tall). Just in time to start my GDP breeding project. :thumb:

Yeah, next seed order I gotta get me some GTH ... It's like it calls to me - I can feel the tingle in my nose, y'know?

And DrG looks promising! Is it humidity? You're able to keep it high enough? How are you managing to keep it looking so happy?

I've now got both the GTH and the Apollo on my wish list thanks to this journal!

Most of that DrG plant looks pretty rough, Graytail. I'm going to cut off all the lower branches when I get a chance and try to bend the top over a little. I just took a pic of one of the halfway good looking branches. But to get two keepers out of a grouping of seeds makes me want to order GTH#1 seeds again myself. :)
The ad read something to the equivalent of Soma knowing a respected breeder who f2'ed Apollo 13 and seemed like a one-time deal. The entire website got shut down because of a bust, so that ship has sailed. I've got 4-6 seeds of it left, and might do another grow of it soon. I was thinking of doing my previous GDP project seeds next, then some more of those 818GDPs, but I'm worried about the rH around here causing grey mold in those type plants. So I might do my Chem D breeding project seeds next, and then those Apollo 13 f2 seeds.

This DrG is still growing and about to hit the top of the tent:

There's no room to bend it down, and nothing but that skimpy R4 is coming out any time soon.
GTH#1:

Other GTH#1:

I'm gonna give this SLH some N; it's getting light colored too soon:

The second non-purple GTH#1 plant I have in that pot:

This Nevil's Haze looks weak at the top (the rest of the plant looks okay, but not great):

The best looking one of these Tikal plants, and wouldn't you know it? It's a male.....

It's kind of hard to see the male parts, so I magnified to be sure before I chopped it. As I was doing that, I notice that the plant alternated double branching on one side about halfway up (you can see two leaves coming from the same spot near the top about 3-4 rows down on the left):

Down to two Tikal plants, and they're both tall already. Bummer.

They're getting on people around my part of the island about recycling the right stuff and it being clean :cough: Hey, I lick the yogurt lids off before I throw 'em in there; what more do you want? The seagull bones I leave in my K-eff-C bucket decompose just as well as the $hit you guys want; probably even better! Get me pi$$ed off enough I'll only buy jarred foods dammit I'll fart in every jar I throw away then put the lid back on real quick! :thumb:

Take a pic fully auto; no flash function:

Adjust the white balance to that pic, and take the exact same pic again:

Still a little blue, but because the flash setting is too high. I move the lens to take a pic of a closer bud further out of the main light, and worse blue from the flash:

So I back up a little, manually adjust the lens, angle myself to the side, and turn the flash setting down:

A little better, but still blue. I tried to adjust every way I could with these wispy DrG pics, but these two are the best I could get:

The branch was directly under the light, so I would have had to do another yellow pic of it, then do a white balance again. I guess what I'm saying is that if I would take the time to do white balance pics and adjust the lightness and flash level for the camera, my pics would come out okay.
