I don't know anything about the MG soil, but, I believe the issue growing MMJ with MG nutes is that it's too high in Nitrogen. Assuming it's the same with the soil (which may NOT be a correct assumption!), it would likely serve well during veg but create potential issues during flower.

I saw those bags at Lowe's. There black with yellow lettering. Last weekend I mixed up a batch of a super soil recipe. It's in trash cans composting for a month. Hopefully it works good cause it's kinda pricey first time. But a lot of the ingredients are barely used. So lots for more batches

Yeah thats the catch with making your own soil mixes.....costly as hell to get all the amendments the first time. But I got at least 4 batches out of every box with some of them looking like I might get 8 batches. Other thing is you can re-amend after use (I cut everything in half on re-amends except for my Ca and Mg sources. I run them full strength.

It seems like both of them are. They're pretty dark green, so the N thing's probably the same with their soils. I've been really busy, but I'll try to get some pics up soon.

It's dark green, but that plant doesn't mind extra N. The Apollo 13 f2 cluster I have growing in it has leaf yellowing, kind of like these leaves on this MPK bud (not the same plant). This plant's almost done; that's why the leaves are fading:

Looking good brother! My crazy organic mix is still composting. I started my next round of flower without it. Use up some bottles of nutes. I'm hoping to get better smells and flavors from the organic

I've been there with the strain Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 before, and I know how out of control it gets (even growing it no mercy like this has me worried). But it was getting ratty looking, so I had to repot it:

I'm not sure about growing these four Tikal plants no mercy. I'll watch them to see how soon they start showing hairs, then decide:

Tikal isn't so much a stretcher - it just doesn't really finish blooming - keeps producing calyxes forever. It stretches maybe triple at the most, and thickens up nicely - just doesn't finish.

Have you tried diminishing light to finish her? Could also try mh lighting...
