Poor, CFL, Stealth, Maybe a Little Luck?

WTF is perlite doing at a dollar store?! lol
Thanks man, I totally forgot about those stores. I could probably just get a couple play buckets for kids lol.
So do you think the plants will be ok in 16oz cups for the first 3 weeks?
Also how long will it take for them to really start growing? I'm hoping a long time since they have to switch back to veg.

Blah! I can't do the cloning today, I'll have to start first thing monday. I'll be gone sat & sun so I can't take care of them, that's why. 3 more days of flowering won't hurt right?
Also what happens to the bud when I put the clones back in veg?

It sort of fluffs out. It starts to grow / stretch apart. You will see a lot of mutated leaves. Single leaf curly basil looking really. After several weeks you will have normal Mj leaves and veg growth again.

Here is a pic of mine after they started to stretch out..

First time here dfw-guy, Great thread and nice grow.. Reps for the home made box's.. A++

yeah the clones at first will look a bit distorted but they'll be just fine. In fact they willmore then likely be a bit more dense. Or at least thats been my experience. in fact my entry on this months plant of the month contest was a flower then reveg plant and it wa so fat that it fell ove but the stem was so strong it never broke.anyways hope all is well, cant wait for the next update..

will a couple of these work for veg they're called spot grow for indoor plant??
Na man those bulbs are bull shit. They're just incandescent bulbs with a blue film. A CFL would be a much better choice. Don't feel bad I was curious about them too when I first started.

Alright everyone, sorry for the long delay. I would have posted an update sooner but I just didn't feel like the plants had grown any. They've gotten a little bigger now though. I havn't taken the clones yet, I'm such a freaken procrastinator.
Anyways, they're on Flower day 55. I think the PH issue is solved, or at least getting better, the dolomite lime I added helped. I noticed more bud sights forming on the bottoms of both plants, and this time I removed them, about 10 I think. They were all really small, I can't bring myself to taking off the already developed bud sites. Of course I smoked what I took off lol :yummy: The taste of the weed is already so much better than the weed I got the seeds from, even though I cured it in the freaken microwave. I can't wait for the real harvest.

Oh and I have 22 pics.
First up, Elsie:

Your pics are SOOOOO much better with the new camera. Lookin' tasty, harvest is coming up any day now... :goodjob:
Eh, harvest is still 2-3 weeks away I'm guessing. thx
those pictures are awesome bro! buds are looking very very nice
Thanks man :peace:

Just a little FYI everyone, the camera I'm using is a Nikon D40 w/ the factory lens (18-55mm). It's my roommates. He's got an 80mm lens if yall want some super closeups. That's probably what I'll use to try and tell what color the trichs are later on.

DFW-Guy, call me when you are ready to harvest and trim..scissors are clean and sharp! Rockin this grow bro. Buds are coming along great. We have been adding a table spoon of molasses per gallon with feeding the Jamaican. She seems to be getting very thick and full of resin. Just wondering if you are doing anything besides nutes?

ight wil take advice and not use it but wat brand cfl and wat wattage??
Any brand, I use what ever is cheapest. For flowering you want a "soft white" color temp, aka 2700k. For veg you want to use a "Daylight" color temp, aka 6500k. As far as wattage goes, the more the better. The minimum I would do is two 23w (100w equivalent) lights. That's for 1 plant, the amount of light needed increases with every plant.
