Pollinating LSD & Wedding Cake With G13 Haze This Time: Can't Wait!

For sure brother. I been I to horticulture and botany since 1997. I was taking my horticulture classes during those times and been practicing ever since. It was a 3 year degree. But I'm a master now a days. If it has a seed or bulb, whatever it is I grow it! I usually have a pretty big vegetable garden every year to. I can't give the stuff away fast enough so I cut it down this year. I only have maybe 5 tomato plants, a few potatoes. I'm into herbs this year to. Got some different species of basil going. I love fresh basil on any of my meat! Burgers mainly. But it's great on any meat. Mostly flowers this year. This is just a little piece. First one is basil, then strawberries, and a stars and stripes lily. The lily is like a Hawaiian deal. Just some of what I got.

Definitely! I don't use any chemicals on my gardens or my weed whether it be indoors or outdoors. Worst comes to worse I may use neem oil but if that's if I have to. But my main pride and joy is definitely my weed. Those are my babies.

I know this is only a weed site. But later down the road when my stuff gets big I'll keep you updated. I'm doing a different type of basil. It's awesome

I got about 3 to 4 weeks to go. Plants are doing great. I ended up with some spider mites coming in so I been hosing them off with some water since I'm about done. It's keeping them bastards population down. Plus I got a box fan blasting them as well. Most of my grows get mites the last few weeks. I've decided to never use chemicals again and to just rinse them thoroughly every day to keep the webs and mites off.

I just counted the calenders days. In 3 days will be 6 weeks. I got about 3 weeks for most of em to be done. Can't wait!

The last pic there is a strain called pink dolphin. I got a sac off my buddy awhile ago and it had a seed in it. It's some of the coolest looking bud I've grown. I can tell it's going to be big buds.

Getting close here. I may be harvesting a couple of the shorter ones sooner. Wedding cake and LSD is about done. If you all ain't growed LSD you need to try it sometime. This is my 4th harvest of LSD and it straight smells like pineapple's! It's always been my best smelling and smoothest taste.

This is exactly week 7. The LSD and wedding cake will be done here in a few days to a week I'd say. My taller ones hopefully make it that long. I'm waiting on the pistils to start laying down but it's been depleting the nitrogen from my lower leaves like crazy. I've started flush! I really do t want to hit it with anymore nitrogen now that it's close to being done. I'll take any opinions.

I know I gotta bunch of foxtailing going on. Should I turn down my lights or how do you go about harvesting when white pistils keep stacking on top of each other? I really want them to lay down and start stinking. When the pistils are fresh like that it has more of a greenish smell rather than flower. It's weird.

I turned my lights down and moved them up a few inches. Hopefully that helps the pistils start to lay down

I think you have to view the late flowering yellowing off as normal, sure, if you'd top dressed or supplemented a month or 2 back with some N you might have kept them greener now, but to me right now, their appearance falls into the 'looking good and acceptable' category. I found in my last grow that even though I was growing in organic living soil, that after waiting and hoping that I could say I only needed to add water, I found I still needed to top dress because my containers are 30L and 50L sizes and I concluded that they are still a bit small to not have to top dress. On my next grow instead of waiting to see whether I need to top dress more like last time, I will instead top dress earlier so the soil has enough for the plant's needs rather than scrambling to rectify the yellowing at the last moment.

Pistil wise, I have tended to focus on the state of the trichomes and harvesting when they are mostly cloudy with some amber appearing, the pistils by then would have mostly browned off. Of course I am not saying that is the right approach, it is just one that I have taken as it seems fairly simple to delay the 'chop' until that point.

The pineapple smell sounds lovely!

Yeah I did too dress with some soil I added bone meal to. Added about another inch of soil to finalize them off. They only have 2 weeks left and some only have 1 week left. And yes buy you some LSD seeds bro. They are the best smelling and smoothest tasting stuff I've ever done. It's super smooth smoke and smells like pineapple's. You can't go wrong and they grow about 2' tall tops. Nice closet plant. And like I said the smell is very pleasant!
