Pollen chuckers paradise

last year I pollinated a ud female with a copper chem male then I popped a few and got two small female plants one of them im flowering and this one I back crossed pollinated with a ud male I believe it makes the seed a bx1 that's what I was told im just learning about breeding :)
some bud pics this is apprx 2 weeks after pollination.

thanks for looking!:hookah:

I've only listen to that one episode but lots of different people even DJ short on other episodes. Decent podcast

I like that podcast. quite a few good episodes.

That is a back cross technically. So, the bx1 is correct in the nomenclature. An interesting thing is how you went to a male from the UD line and not to the original mother from the UD. This should lead to more varied traits in the bx1 than the more traditional route that breeders have been taking when using this technique. Very cool tactic for sure.

Collected some pollen last night from my sour strawberry kush x trophy wife male as well as the GG4xZkittles male gonna try and collect a little more in a bit and I will be selectively pollinating a few branches of the plants in flower. Gonna do it the same as last time to make about 50 seeds of each cross to test.

This is how I've been going about recently. I've been using those bags that are filled with air that amazon has been sticking in their boxes for the last year or so. I snip an end off with some scissors and fill it with some pollen and let it hang on a branch for 24 hours. They work great since they are longer than they are wide. This last run I was able to put multiple lower branches in one bag I will see how many beans it produced here in a week or so.

This technique seems to work well to keep the pollen from blowing all over the place in the growing area. I also keep a spray bottle handy with some water and separate the plant before placing the baggie.

Interesting idea Buck.

Cool tip. I honestly have only one intentional pollination under my belt as of last round of flower. But I did it much differently and had no pollen spread. Maybe I will do a video of my technique and post it up here. Gonna pollinate some branches tonight.

I went with that male for two reasons that's the only one I had :laughtwo: but it was a nice male with a good stink to it im just playing around im wanting the copper chem high with the ud structure trying to get heavier buds the cc is a low yielder so I pollinated that plant and flowered one out there both about 20 in tall I was wanting to get a look and I like what I see:)

Thanks brother I was just curious if yours came from the mother. That could play a part in choosing plants for breeding :D
