Pollen chuckers paradise

Looks fire Rich - have you harvested any of your cross yet? Looks frosty and Huckleberry Soda... yum

Does a damaged plant (main stem split) and pollen getting chucked from her in response count? lol

Thank you so much, These are the testers. I'll keep all the plants I like and label them. Depending on how the buds are I'll keep my fav and do another grow to see if anything comes out better and definitely find a male. I have a few crosses that need working but seeing that frost is definitely promising. Would love the option of regs for further breeding and fems for straight runs. very soon

Set an ideal of what you want then select the closest to the ideal and reject all others.

That's it, selective breading is the way to go. Gotta say the hunt is very exiting, just wish I had more space. These definitely have potential though. It's been a lot of fun I gotta say.

I've never seen a plant herm from physical damage in my grows and they get a lot of it. Also heard people say they got hermies from topping too many times. interesting. For me it's mostly genetics and stress. Seen a loooot if hermies in my life . Lol

Oh me either on the damage thing. This plant tho I put her into flower after I transplanted her and she was growing OK for a few weeks, started flowering then she sorta just stopped doing anything.

I was very busy with moving so I wasn't watching closely like I usually do and she hermed. Usually its just a few seed but this one was full on ball sacs but only like 3 or so. When i chopped her down she split right down the center of the main stem and I could see there wasn't much water flow thru the stem as it was damaged pretty bad and necrotic in the center. I'm surprised she lived tbh.

The good news is even tho a lot of seed and not a lot of weed, what I got is VERY good.

I get nanners from time to time. Thats my sign to chop. lol

Ball sacs get the chop and the bin but I rarely get them. Last time I got one was in VEG which was weird. FEM plant went male in VEG lighting. Needless to say he/she was a goner.

They really show on my Ting's purple buds. It got pollinated kinda late in flower. It took really well. But I'll have to push it way further in flower than it wants to go.
It's leaves are yellow and trichs are well beyond ambered out.
Keep chugging along girl till the seeds mature. Hopefully she keeps drinking :laughtwo:

I don't no whats better to pollinate early in flower or wait later im starting to think it might be better to pollinate a big branch early in flower and cut it off when its ready that way the plant is still healthy and growing when its developing those seeds just a thought!
I think you are right! I will be doing it that way from now on. I am glad I did the open pollination tho. Was a good experience. I'll end up with too many. But hands on experience gets burned in my brain. Reading doesn't :laughtwo: Side effects of the hobby

Here's couple of my girls from the open pollination.
Ting is the purple one and Chernobyl pheno #2 is the green one

With my triple purple rhino pollination, I had the male first, I kept popping seeds the third time I got a Girl so the girl started to flower with an already mature dropping pollen male right next to it. I let it pollinate for the first week of flower.
I kept training the male and pruning the male back waiting for the girl to get mature. This is some of what I got. I have about 5 of these little jars
