I'll never use a 5 gallon pot for any of my sativas, 8 gallon plus from here on out ..
All plants in 5 gallon pots are root locked and soaking up water faster then I can pour it.
Also recommend looking into dwc.
Happier plants and less bugs + alot cleaner.
I'm going to invest in a professional light before I buy a dwc/rdwc setup but will definitely be looking into it for future grows.

the stems are also starting to turn purple

im posting these pics to see how much they have grown since my last post two days ago. Flower stretch has stopped and everything is starting to bulk up.
Only thing I changed up from last time was my watering schedule.
Needs watering every other day. Not two days. Still drowning the soil when watering day comes.
I also noticed the end of leaves were turning brown from Nute burn so I stopped giving nutrients for this week.
Heres a couple pics of one of my bulk plants too, still platinum cookies just different growing method

The stems are starting to turn purple.

After doing a little research I found the purple stems could be due to a phosphorous deficiency and even the genetics but I decided to give her another feeding of tiger bloom and plant food after evaluating every other plant.
This is the only plant showing signs but also has the thickest stems and therefore requires more nutrients so I went with that theory.

Turns out I was right. Had a mobile nutrient deficiency of p or k. I fixed it before It became a real problem and the plant took what nutrients it needed from any lower foliage, If I left any. :)

one cola didn't have any lower foliage to weep nutrients from and is the only one to show any signs of deficiency on new growth.

Love that stair step buds to the top .
Thanks man, looking for higher density I'm going to let this one mature up until the trichomes are turning Amber or it's toppling over. Getting kinda late for backbuilding and I'm not looking for additional shock but that is still an option.
