Luv the pics' Renae!...and while I think those folks could grow those beauties under any lights...I'm embracing LED technology...being in the maintenance game...my lighting set up is a mish mash of various lights acquired gratis thru werk...T5's...T8's...various wattage CFL's...and a couple LED floods...and some 70 watt HPS wall packs...been an add on project as fixtures fall into my hands...while results have improved over last year's effort(my first grow)...so has power consumption...which as an at home personal use med grower is a concern...especially since retirement is just round the corner(Thank God!...loloool)...LED'S while somewhat still exspensive offer a viable alternative to MH and HPS lighting systems...My current conglomeration is just over a thousand watts for a 8X8 room(during flowering...I leave them all on)...12 plants...thinking bout downsizing to 8 plants(gets pretty crowded in there this time of year!...lolool) and a bigger yield per plant...suggestions on a one/two fixture alternative?...Gracias...h00k...

Hi dr.h00k, thanks for the compliment! Sounds like you have quite a library of lighting! I can certainly understand your desire to cut back and lower energy costs. Well, most of our lights are designed for commercial growers. Based on your current set up, our Lumenator 2x units would be the best choice. They are 180watt lights that cover up to a 3x3 area. Most growers pull eight ounces from under each one. You can start with a couple and see if you want to switch your whole room over. We also have a larger light, the Dominator 2x. That would cover a 4x4 area at 435watts; comparable to nearly 1000watts of HPS. And our largest unit is the Dominator 2xxl. That one will cover a 5x5 area at 650watts and will blow 1000watts of HPS out of the water will yield, taste, aroma, and density. These are all great choices. And it's great timing to buy because we just lowered our prices and we still offer the discount code for 420Magazine (an additional 10% off). Thank you for reaching out and congrats on being able to retire soon! Lucky, lucky!!!

your website claims the Lush Lighting Dominator2xXL produces 180,000 lumens - is that an actual measurement, or an equivalent figure you made up?
