Cool. Your door is in exactly the right spot. You got lucky. That's about the perfect ratio we are looking for. 600 W is about the size you need for that space. A 400 W would be an under powered grow space. Even better than one 600 W would be two 400 watt lights,(more light and better coverage) or two or more LED panels, or whatever combination you can dream up. Basically a 600 W equivalent would be about the size of light you want in there. Oops I guess I said that already...

In your flowering space you can grow four large plants, (possibly will have to scrog the bigger ones) or six or eight medium size ones. Or 12-16 little ones. The veg room will end up having an assortment of different plants of various sizes and ages, whatever you need to keep supplying the flowering room. It's a bit tricky timing a perpetual grow at times so it's good to have extra ones in veg. It will be hard to grow huge plants in the flowering room because you won't have space in your veg room for huge plants, and it will be hard to fit them through the doors, especially if they are in (portable/individual) scrog screens, as large plants would likely be.

If you are running more than a 600w flower and 400w veg, you will need two 15A breakers. For example, if you put in a 1000 watt dimmable ballast in the flowering room, you'll want to asign it it's own breaker. With power drain of accompanying vent fans and movement fans, etc. You don't ever want to run at maximum load or you won't sleep well at night.

One more thought.
You can get by without a door to the veg room, or possibly (less likely) even one to the flowering room, as long as you are careful about what times you enter the rooms. Myself, I have to walk through the veg room to open door to flowering room. That means I can only access flowering room while veg room lights are off and I turn off all cloning lights and whatever. Or i I have to get in there at a time when veg lights are on I flip off the lights. Which happens all too often, I don't like it but haven't seen any ill effects from it. If you skip the veg door youll have easier access to everything but you'll have to work around the lights as well as being extra careful to seal up the flowering room door against the bright light from veg. Though, actually it should be 100% light proof anyway. The entry door to foyer should be 100% light proof as well.

Wow. Now, question, is light/lumen/watt calculated by surface area of the room or surface area of the plants? Ex, 5,000 lux per sq ft of grow space equaling 45,000 for a 3x3 room or 5,000 per sq ft of plant equaling 30,000 for 3x2 plant.

I've never tried to look at lumens per square foot, Mello, but almost certainly it would mean lumens per square foot of floor space.
