Planet Mars Sponsored Grow

Hello Skunksta! Trying to catch up now and couple things wanted to mention abouthe the FC3000 and FC-E300
And the lights mate i would love to say the FC3000 is better.
FC3000 definitely perform and penetrate better even it has about ~250 leds less! (896pcs total)
FC3000 consists w-top 2 led chips (Samsung & Osram Horticultural ones) And it has MW driver - it's not mentioned which one but I guess it is HLG-320H which has 94% efficiency.

FC-E3000 has 1184 Bridgelux chips - So it has 288 chips more than FC3000, but for the comparison Samnsung LM301B chips has a luminous efficacy of 220 lm/W and Bridgelux Vesta chips only up to 135 lm/W max. Thats actually a big difference even tho both lights output ~300W at max.

The one thing I've noticed about grow lights in general is that the ones that put off more Red seem to do a better job than the bright white lights. I know all the Mars TS series lights have that red. I'm not sure if they use the same diodes in their Bar Lights though. The TS series lights are still my favorite of all lights. I haven't had the opportunity to try out an FC4800 & I don't know anyone who has one so I can check it out, so for now I'll just keep using the TS lights. I'd sure like to see the color of light the FC4800 puts out though.
Too bad you don't have a TSW2000 so you could do a 3 way comparison. I think the TSW would win.
Plants are looking mighty fine. Nice work !

I looked at the specs on the TSW 2000. There are no Red or Green Diodes. Yes, it's in the wavelength just like in other lights.

Hi Buds!
Actually TSW 2000 has added red chips (660nm and IR 730mm) amongst with the 3000K ones. 3000K color temperature already includes a sufficient range of blue & red wavelengths. And the 3000K temperature is tilted to red. Therefore TS serie lamps are good for the flowering as they’ve included less 5000K(blue light) chips, so their output CCT is more towards 3500K than ”natural full spectrum” at around 4700-5000K.

Plus most of the green light is useless for the plants.

And FC serie bars spreads the light over a much larger area more evenly than TSW, but I guess they all have their own benefits.

If it would be FC3000 vs. TSW2000 vs. FC-E300. The winner in performance would be FC3000. Don’t know which one has the most suitable spectrum for cannabis, it could be that TSW might produce the best results during flowering but might lack blue light during the veg.

And PS. Ladies looking great!! You gave them a proper hair cut.

I'd put a TSW 2000 against either FC 3000 doing 1 plant in a 3x3 tent. TSW will wipe either one out from my experience. I've only had the TSW 2000 & the FC-E3000. Haven't had the FC 3000. Bar lights are good to keep an even canopy over several plants. But a single light like the TSW 2000 over a single plant just rocks it !
Right now I have 3 plants flowering under a TSL 2000 & 2 of the TS 1000's. They're kicking some butt in just 1 week of flower so far. One day I hope to try the FC 4800 or 6500 to see how it does. Getting ready to test out the SP3000 this week in my next journal.

Yes for the one plant only TSW would be the winner because of the reflective hood and just generally smaller board.

I’ve totally missed your new journal(s) Last one I remember was the SFV Kush

I have 2 journals going at the moment. The Testing one & My Grow. The 3rd one will start Sunday.... I hope. Waiting on a couple things to get delivered to get things rolling.

Pics update.

Well all I can add to the debate.
Is as you can see not really much in it.
The lady at the far end is the one under
The FC3000 and the one closest is under
The FCE3000. Growth wise since flip cant
Say I have noticed the FC3000 lady doing
Any better the the FCE3000 BUT long way
To go YET. It’s another one of those questions
I guess is the extra cost really worth it in
The real world in terms of weight and final
Product.

And great input guys thanks for adding some facts.

The 6inch fan from @Mars Hydro is doing a GREAT job as an intake fan.
never had so much control of r/h as my controller is heat only.
Would love to be able to set different fan speeds at heat/RH levels.
I may of missed something but its on or of. (might be something for the techs quick code fix on led screen)
Set on full its just as loud as my rvk fan.

So the good people at @Weed Seeds Express
Have continued there sponsorship.
So next grow will be all WSE and Mars sponsorship in this space.
4 strains in my 2 spaces.
I have been growing sometime now and I have
Never grown a lady before over 10oz until
I found @Weed Seeds Express beans.
Check my last run for the results of the Acapulco gold 10 and a half in my space is
Amazing. Really can’t stress enough how good
There beans have been for me. Glad to be
Working with them again. As I know the results
Will be spot on. It’s a long time 12 weeks To
Invest in a grow and I know with WSE I won’t be
Disappointed with the results.

Well these guys dont mess around.
@Weed Seeds Express have already shipped to me.
strains for my summer grow.

Super silver haze.
Pure power plant.
NYC diesel.
Sky walker OG.

Will also keep everyone updated on post to UK.
Both times i have used WSE no issues at all.
Got to me after 4 days all seeds but one popped out of 8.
they ship world wide and the product is spot on.
Not grown anything i couldnt smoke from WSE
For a in house team i have been shocked time after time.

Stretch looks like it’s over ish. LoL

Love the @Mars Hydro bar lights.
With alittle help they produce
Such a even canopy.
Lights are at 100% prob have to turn them
Down some soon due to weather.
Love the fans , it’s set to number 4 speed wise.
And does a great job still making me angry
Not being able to set max temp and not being
Able to change from F to C smaller fan does
Not have the same issues. That being said
Having more control over my space is great.
And I would buy another if needed.

:)

They look so happy and healthy :)
So how old r they now?
Just over a six week veg due to space. (last one had not finished)
And flipped the 27th of april.
So just over 8 weeks from when potted after rooting (clones)
Thanks for passing by :)

Also my bucket (drip system)
Is only lasting 2 days really now.
Feeding three times a day.
I turn the drip system on for 6 min now.
Getting 3 to 3 and half L a day. (each lady)
And i get a little run off on last feed.
Kinda dailed it in now.
Beats hand feeding 2/3 times aday.

Healthy looking bud set :yummy:
And at least now it's time to compare which light produces a better red spectrum for the biggie nugs :cheesygrinsmiley:

Any idea how intense light the canopy is getting?
