And just a couple more pictures that caught my eye.

@Modest grower
So I emailed Boreal about the “Freak” seeds. They got back in touch with me and after a few back and forth they should be available around November. He’s gonna email me when they produce and go from there. Just so you know buddy.

That i all fine and good, but you plan to clone these before you flower and smoke - right?

You never know where something special will come from. Sometimes it comes from the unusual looking ones :)

Thanks MG! It’s mega hot out right now, I keep moving around outside chasing shade. Kids are bugging me to set up a tent. “I wanna sleep outside tonight dad” “dad, you promised”. I’ll post some pics up later tonight when the lights come on, The GA3 planet has super elongated branches, even the female preflowers stretched like crazy, the CS plant looks super deformed leaves curling and discoloured. It’s very interesting. You’ll see later. I’ll probably do a full update on both areas.
Have a great day buddy. How are the plants?

Awesome! Sounds like the GA3 may be working for you. Plants are looking good over here. I'm on day 3 spray of GA3. Starting to fill my buckets up. Love opening it and smelling hardcore cheese haha. Looking forward to the update pics

Fingers crossed! Feel free to drop pictures here in the journal so we can see time to time,
With the elongation I started thinking if it’s possible to microdose certain branches being low on the canopy to have them shoot you to even canopy level.... might have to do some experimenting in the future with that. Not too much to turn em but enough to stretch em.

Did you do any tasters yet?

No tasting yet. I don't want to ruin my first impression to be honest. The smell is promising though. Now, I only have to burp a bucket instead of multiple jars but when you open it up it shall be known.

So I’ll do an update tonight, last night the wife and I had a nice movie night and spent some quality time together. I didn’t want to cut it short for the sake of an update. Sorry guys.
Instead we hung out, smoked some Lebanese hash and Black Cherry OG pictured below.

So I have a hermaphrodite question maybe you or someone following along can help me answer.

So I know a bit from all my research about genetic herms vs stress induced herms. So one question is where does the chemical induced hermaphroditism fall in, or is it is own subcategory?

Where I’m driving at is if using GA3, CS, or STS is a stressed induced hermaphroditism, why wouldn’t seeds from non-herm lineage but stress induced hermaphrodite plant be ok to use without risk of genetically herming offspring? Or are they ok but the percentage of viable seeds too low to be even considered a way of making feminized seeds?

I asked this same question in another thread, answer is here;

Post #68 has the answer

Good post DAB, I just got back from getting ice cream with the family. That pretty well was the answer I’d give you from research @The Phantom. Although I’d add that it’s my belief that ALL feminized seeds have a recessive hermie gene. Starting out with the strongest genetics would minimize the chances though. The harder it is to reverse the plant the stronger the genetics are against it...again that’s just my opinion though. Personally I’ve never looked at rodelization as a viable option.
