The wife just said the exact same thing to me!
had a meeting with the surgeon that did the surgery yesterday. Apparently I pulverized 3cm on the clavicle into dust. So they had to lengthen it with the plate and screws. He said lots of missing pieces and shards they couldn't replace, so I’m gonna be off work for longer than I excepted.

I wasn't aware you had surgery for this work injury. How are you healing?

Ouch!
That’s gotta smart.
It’s amazing what they can do isn’t it?
Will you need to take immunosuppressants for the new bits?

Yeah I went for a referral appointment with the fracture clinic on the 12th of May and they rushed me into surgery that day. I’m healing okay though thanks for asking Smokey.

It truly is amazing what they can do these days! I didn’t even think about the plate being rejected. Something to talk to the surgeon about for sure!

Glad your healing us Albertans Canadians have to stick together! :snowboating:

Fixed that for ya! Would you hold it against me if said I was an Ontarian? I’m like a second cousin twice removed.....worked out in Alberta for a while though and have resided there for a period of time. Like I said second cousin twice removed lol

Hey @Scottylikesbud, seen your little contraption, pretty interesting. I recently just celebrated a successful harvest with a home grown and home made Thai stick/Cannagar. First time I’ve ever done anything like that. Wrapped in re-hydrated fan leafs. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

CD! I just saw this over on @Scottylikesbud’s journal.
I saw this or one like it weeks ago and have been keeping my eyes peeled ever since.
Teach me, oh sensei?

I did submit it in the Photo Of the Month. Maybe you seen over there? I can absolutely give you a quick rundown though Double D.

- take fluffy non-ground up buds and pack onto a bamboo stick (fluffier the better, so it compresses as you pack it on)

-Wrap that in twine as you go to keep it tight and compact.

-Wrap that in parchment paper or foil and refrigerate for 3days

- remove from refrigerator and unwrap it
(So it’s just bud on a stick)

*optional step*
-coat in rosin/oil

-wrap it back up in single leaf blades overlapping as you go, whilst also using the twine again to keep it tight and relatively uniform.

- wrap back up in parchment paper or foil

*Optional step if you added rosin*
-place in frying pan and roll it around to liquify the oil and coat under the leaves better

- place back in the refrigerator for another 3-7 days

-take out of the refrigerator and throw it in a frying pan while still wrapped up to dry out completely (literally take a couple minutes)

- unwrap everything and enjoy.

It will burn for a long time, took me a couple sessions to finish it.

That’s terrific!
Thanks for the blow by blow.
Whole, fluffy buds. Interesting.
You build it up round a kebab skewer, then that becomes the draw hole when you winkle the stick out later.
Wow!
I am gonna give that a hoon!

As @oldsmokey Frantically smashes the un follow journal button

 Just playin around, I knew you were from Ontario!

The wife just said the exact same thing to me!
I ended up(finger quotes) “cleaning the garage”.... I left it in worse shape then it was in before hand! But I needed to move everything out of the spot it was in so I could build some shelving with the spare 2x6’s I got from a job site. I got it built and almost like the one shelf for a work bench, but we’ve got 30 cardboard boxes full of crap we had when we rented the house. Wife got pregnant, so we downsized to a basement suite to save up for a house... well, we’ve got the house now, but we still have 30 boxes full of storage we just need to hang on to!:eye-roll: Lol

I tried to go to the hardware store to get plywood to finish off the shelves, but they were closed at 5.... and I was ten mins too late. So I guess that task gets put on hold for now. I’m rambling now, I need to go to bed!!

I am gonna give that a hoon!
No worries brother, I think to improve the next one I’d use a slightly smaller diameter skewer, maybe even a dried leftover stem? Have a few of them kicking around! Lol

Jesus Murphy! You dun fu**ed that right up eh!? Glad they fixed you up!!
I sure did! Lmao

30 boxes full of storage we just need to hang on to
Don’t remind me, I’ve been in this house for 4 years.... we have boxes of stuff in the basement we will never use it probably open again!

I’m rambling now, I need to go to bed!!
I hear ya! I’m off to bed too. Have a good one brother. Baby should be up soon for feeding, no? Lmao
