OH man the plant in the stump works great for "set em and forget em growing"

Everyone I have in a hollowed out OLD decaying stump went in as an 8" clone in June and I never touched them all year and harvest about 4 zips a piece on them from just rain water.
Works great the wood never lets them dry out and there's beneficial bacteria in the decay. Try it you'll like it :-) same thing as a hugelkultr bed (German method)
 
Hey pino how much more watering is required in coco and what about ph fluctuations. You must obviously ph your water. But is that it? In soil I have to add lime and things to keep my ph stable otherwise I end up getting a lockout of some sort. Most people wouldn't notice it I guess but I notice the Weight drop when my ph fluctuates

Wish I would have trimmed it all up. But this is 1 of my stump plants. Early skunk. I trimmed the top 18" or so. Id say this one was a good 5 or 6 ounces from pure rain water only. Who knows there could be more but I always like to guess light. Lol that's how me and pino met! Lol sorry again bro. I can be a jerk sometimes. I'm pretty small minded lol but I'm trying to be more open and accepting :-)
 
No problems Rooster!! Yea in coco i treat it jus like hydro. I keep the ph between 5.5 and 6.2 with 5.8 sweet spot but i let mine go up and down. I like my plants to be almost root bound in a 3 gallon soft pot. In veg i feed once and in bloom they get two. I love coco but not gonna lie its the only medium i used except my yound drop the seed in some dirt and see what happens.

Yes seen that!! M so so glad you figured out that OZONE!! And must say taught me a lot so thatnks for documenting it. It had to suck to have plants that dont look up to par but you rolled wit it and figured it out and m sure many have learned from it. Thanks again!!

How much water would you say you use a day?
 
Hey Pino, I got some catching up to do on your journal man! I respect your dedication to coco haha. I'm forcing myself to do coco again next grow so I can try to get better at it. I struggle with the first week or two. I was setup for a drip system but then they all started needing different amounts of nutes haha.
 
Hey Rooster!! That question is hard to answer i guess without specifics. Like how many plants what size container and so on and so on.

So for me and my small operation and following lessons from CULTIVATOR!! First i water to lil run off if any. Lot of people dont like it but it works. Always feed i dont do feed feed then straight water. Just feed everytime! When they are vegging i water once a day bout 3/4 gallon a day between the two then when i hit bloom twice a day bout 1 1/2 gallons. I dont measure i jus water and pay attention to how light the soft pots get. Hope i helped. I do love coco its even great to clone in!!
 
Thanks for visiting Arch!! Yea i kove the coco. Have a ebb n flow table i want to use so bad but jus been loving coco so much hard for ne to change when i have something that works!! I do want to expkore other ways of growing but i guess i will master coco then move on!! Still working on that cob conversion!!

Oh man hair tests suck. I administered them at a drug testing facility I worked at for a brief time (temp job when I left law enforcement) but there's really no good way to pass a hair test. Some people said they passed with the shampoo stuff after I tested them but others failed. I knew a ton of people that came in for tests. Lot of them would reach out to me and I'd let them bring in other hair and send that for them. I was pretty good to my stoner friends lol
