Pinky's Fairy Garden - 2x4 Indoor - Soil - LED's - 6 Plants - Grow 3

I'll bet you have a nice grow season there Growlow! It's going to be tough to keep the doors closed for 12 hours!

That is so funny! I didn't mind the heat as much in my teenage years, because it was fun to wear summer clothes.
I live at 8,500ft, so my blood is very thick, and doesn't like heat.
We laugh when we see people all bundled up in jackets, hats and gloves when it snows! :rofl:
My son wore shorts everyday to HS, in 2 feet of snow on some days! Some days were 12c to -23c. We are acclimated to this weather, so it works. ;-)

Although I grew up in the Tropics I've become very acclimated to the cool weather. I'll walk outside in flip flops when it's snowing haha. I love the cold. Not a fan of the heat myself these days ;)

Not sure how different Portland weather is but I am shutting down till October when I harvest in a week. With out AC, I'll be forced to run 600 or 400 watts, which is to low energy for the work. But I'll admit weather is good 8 of 12 months.

Cheers

haha,next time i will try it:rofl:
I live in Seattle, it doesn't get too hot here usually! If it does it's short lives. I too go the grow room when it's hot here. I just tell the wife I need to release some C02 on the girls and sing em a few tunes ;)

Couldn't agree with you more Lupey! I had snow here Sunday morning too. Had to go out and cover my outdoor youngun's in a hurry.
Ridiculous!

I'm glad you love it Pinky. Enjoy...and keep it there. :laugh:

i think winter is better than summer...when you feel cold,just wear more clothes or stay close to the fire...but for summer,when you go outside:surf:...it's killing me:volcano-smiley: maybe i will change my mind again when winter comes to me..haha

Open to anyone willing to answer! lol

 1. How long do you like to veg from clone or seed?
 2. Do you think they will stretch A LOT more if you wait... say, 8 weeks instead of 6 weeks?
 3. I am just wondering if the extra time equals the amount of extra bud you gain.
 4. Have you ever went 12-16 weeks in veg?

Just curious about this process, and other peoples experiences. :Namaste::thanks:
:Love:

i will ell u my plans..i have only one photoperiod.OG Kush feminised free seed..it is about one month now..i plan to keep it in trainingtill july maybe more..i will keep updating....hope i will finish it without problems..til now is the only one i didnt have problems..photperiod are more strong plants thann autos..am i right?maybe it will take a while but 3-4 months on veg ..i will try to keep it less than one meter tall but to makeit very big horizontally...time will tell

I've only been at this for a year but yes longer veg will give you a bigger yield. But usually it will get too big in flower. I don't veg at all based on time I send it to flower based on size ideally. Some I want to throw in early to intentionally keep it smaller. I run a perpetual and pull extra's so the strongest healthiest clones go to flower. the rest get culled.

Flower is a whole different thing....

Hi Lupey and Canna,
I understand, if you are growing outside this weather is awful! I gave up on growing anything outside when I moved to Colorado. I lived in CA for many years and always had a huge outdoor year round veggie garden. It took some getting used to moving here. Then I started growing my food inside, and I finally realized I could also grow my medicine! I do wonder when Spring will act like Spring...
:green_heart::Namaste::circle-of-love:

Gee I guess there is no sense complaining about the chilly 60 degrees cold snap we are presently dealing with? At least the weatherman says it is suppose to warm back up tomorrow.
Snow snow snow let it snow :Love:

LOL! That sounds like my kind of weather, cool to colder!
:kiss::goof:

That sounds right Sara. I agree 100%. You can always add layers, but you can't take enough off! lol :skeptical::hugs::green_heart:
