Pinky's Fairy Garden - 2x4 Indoor - Soil - LED's - 6 Plants - Grow 3

Open to anyone willing to answer! lol

  1. How long do you like to veg from clone or seed?
  2. Do you think they will stretch A LOT more if you wait... say, 8 weeks instead of 6 weeks?
  3. I am just wondering if the extra time equals the amount of extra bud you gain.
  4. Have you ever went 12-16 weeks in veg?

Just curious about this process, and other peoples experiences. :Namaste::thanks:

Hi ya pinky! Your plants look super happy.

I usually veg 8 weeks when I'm topping and super cropping. Mine rarely stretch much more than 1x. I'm growing a couple all natural with no training that I veged for 5 weeks. I generally just go by how they look. Not very scientific lol.

Veg time will not equal dry weight. It's how you grow your plants. I veg'ed long enough for one top and transplant (2.5 weeks) 60 day flower, 688 g dry under 80 days from start to finish. You could not top or train a plant and veg 8 weeks. You would have a plant hitting top of tent and still yield low numbers because any sites below 32" are immature and at least 1/3 of weight is found there. I could top 5 sites from seed with one Trans plant (up Feb 21st, flower Mar 17th) and 86 days later have this.

Untopped and 8 week veg would have a much larger plant with less sites and only in week 4 of flower.

Cheers
