Pink's New Grow Room: Perpetual Fun and Games

Still not what I'd call a lollipop! Bushy and healthy in there and congrats on the flip. :thumb:
The pictures don’t show it very well. But the plants look like a big ball held up by a single stalk, and the stalks are an inch across or more.

Looking good Pinky.... Do you mind if I call you that...? Very healthy:thumb: You got a real jungle in there:popcorn:
You can call me Pinky! Thanks for stopping by.

Monday Update
Gardeners who love their plants, like me, could spend 24 hours in the tent room. But let me say this again; three tents is a lot of work. Of course the 5 by 5 tent takes the most work. One week into flower, the plants are thriving; I did have one issue though. I had to turn the @Budget LED light down some. The leaves on top were showing heat and light stress. I'm a bit sad that I don't have a gauge on the dimmer, but I think I got it down to about 75 percent; it was on full power.
Here's a couple of pics:

This weekend was busy in the grow space. I trimmed off all the excess below the first net and cleaned out all dead and dying leaves. It took me three hours.

The Mom tent is gestating. LOL. It was flipped to 12/12 last week. I plan to bring these plants to flower and harvest bud, then let all the plants reveg. So I will have a lot of clones to do.
I have one little concern, and that is the white residue that is visible around the root area on the outside of the pots. I'm assuming it is just salt buildup on the pot fabric and is harmless. Anyone have this happen before? I'm a new user of fabric pots and coco coir.

So, in summary, the grow is going well with few challenges so far. My cloning tent is stable and rooting. I can't wait to see bud.

I recommend a Kill-a-Watt meter. They're cheap and will let you know exactly where you are from the wall. That or a lux meter (around $35 from Amazon). Or both!

The white on the outside of the pots are leftover salts from the nutes where they evaporate on the cloth. Not a problem.

Congrats on the cleanup!
I have a meter that measures lumens and foot candles. What I need is instructions. Lol.

What light height are you at? And what is your lux readout?

I’ll answer this tomorrow evening. The green room is sleeping. And I won’t know the numbers until then because tomorrow is nail day with my daughter. Mani pedis all around!
also, do you mean distance from plants to the light?

Enjoy! I have my boys ... alone ... for a long weekend. We shall see the aftermath.

Ok. I didn’t get the meter numbers but the light is 49 inches above the tray, and about a foot above the Plants. I’ll get the meter numbers tonite.

No worries. The 1 foot sounds like its a tad close but want to confirm with the lux numbers.

@Budget LED the lux are 597 x 100, right under the light at the highest point where the plants are. Dr. Meter lx1330b.

Multiple it by 0.0185 I believe.

You are at roughly 1,100 at that read point.

There’s 10 inches of tent above the light. So if I can talk my technician into it, we could raise the light some.

Shoot for 50k. Why not dim it slightly?

Ok, good idea. NOw it reads about 600 x 100. Is that still enough light? Sorry, but I need assistance because I don’t understand the math (liberal arts background LOL).
