Pink Rozay Under A ViparSpectra XS1500

She took the full strength dose of Mega Crop like a champ, so I'm feeling good about adjusting the res up to full strength tomorrow or a day after tomorrow.

Pink Rozay
Day 8

Thanks for looking in!

That lil heifer has a damn toenail in the res..... She has no quit in her :bravo:

Rock on Mel! Friggin awesome

This is what he mentioned yesterday that surprised me:

missed it ...

Full strength Mega Crop today. I'll be making sure the res is at full strength (1g/litre, 4g/gallon) sometime in the next few days.

ok. so that's mid veg strength on a seedling with a set of barely established first trues. check.
that's about nuclear.

i'm guessing it's the massive hempy seedling bucket that is the difference between a happy seedling or a crispy wisp?

I suppose, except I started the last ones in small pots and transplanted to larger ones, the same size as this one, later.
By this point I was actually giving them a higher dose of Mega Crop, and a bit of magnesium nitrate, so these are being fed less. Here's a link.
There's no trace of burn on either the Pink Rozay, or the GSC plants getting full strength trickles at the stems, and those are going right on the roots, and there wasn't any with the previous plants either.

Edit: Oops! Those still had a bit of water in the res!
Although I had been trickling progressively larger doses of nutes down the stems at that point, so it wasn't actually plain water at that point.

for comparison these were at
1.5g MC
1ml calmag
2L RO

full

about day 14 above ground.

a full g under where you are at present. i find i ramp up about .5g/wk until mid veg, then it slows a little.

Yeah.
I've been looking back at my first foray into hempy, and it looks like the smaller the starting container, the faster they find the res and take off.
And then I looked at my Black Sugar, and it looks like I decided to skip the progressive bumps, and just started her on a res of plain water, and gave her 1.5g/litre Mega Crop for her root trickles.

Edit: Here's the Black Sugar at day 14.
Oh FFS, double edit...

That reminds me: how's the lemon plant coming along? I just planted two seeds that had started growing inside the last lemon we sliced.
It's toast. It started putting out small branches that would get two or three nodes long, then die.
I'm still not sure why that happened, but I have new dwarf lemon seeds, and citrus fertilizer spikes, so I'm going to start a couple soon.
These won't be in contaminated soil, so I hope they do better.

Comparing the size of those first true leaves to the cotyledons in the overhead shot, she definitely grew more quickly overnight.
I topped up the res with 1g/litre Mega Crop, but not to significant runoff, yet.

Pink Rozay
Day 9

Sorry to hear that but I'm sure you're going to get the next ones set up for success!
Thanks, I hope so.
I was considering trying one out in a hempy, but I got the feeling from the previous plants that they prefer dryer conditions.

White sand beach and she is just straight lounging!!

Reminds me of the Snoop Corona commercials lol
