Even if grants are not available you could possibly save some cash by looking at used panels. I know that they can be found on Craigslist around me because a neighboring state was offering grants for solar installations. And Tesla has that new whole home battery coming out as well, something that would likely pair well with a solar array, although the price tag on it is around $3,000. Expensive, yes, but I'm convinced that is rather pay a little bit more upfront instead of paying to much every month. If you know what I mean. As a middle class family, I sometimes come across a little extra funds that I could allocate to solar panels. Rather then hoping that every month for the rest of my life I have enough money to pay the hydro bill.
