I've got plenty of it for now so I should be able to take pc clones soon and flower them in 1 gallon cans along with mother and HGK clone in about 6 or 7 weeks. Our I might keep them in veg for a long time and see where it goes. Not sure how many plants I can fit properly under mars 400, especially with two in scrog
I'll go out and take more pics tonight. PC is getting nice and big. Every day when lights go out both plants let their leaves sag down but I know it's just cause they're working hard, not a problem.
I think u got a 3x3 footprint with the mars 400. So whatever u can fit lol. I'm just 38x38" lol and 16 plants... Well we will see how that goes.
How u gonna clone? Same as last time just water? I say veg em into mother plants.
Yeah I plan on letting them take their time as water clones again. I might take your advice and grow me some mother plants. Could probably veg them for a few months during winter indoors and flower them in spring.
Went and trimmed some fan leaves off of pineapple chunk. Her nodes are getting long and the fim has that classic crinkle leaves on it. Clone is getting taller and growing some more leaves and nodes. With the pineapple chunk, what age can I take clones, and about how long should the nodes be? Not sure if cloning is an age based number or length of node
Age not so much as size. If you got 3-4 nodes of growth with a nice 2 inch section of bare stem, that's a optimal clone.
I've cloned 1 node and I've cloned 11 node. 11 roots faster then 1 by a week.
Bigger the clone quicker the rooting.
My clones I cut are roughly 3 inch tip of stem to tip of growth. If that helps.
Thanks, that does help a lot. I'll probably cut clones this week sometime. PC should be a month old now so I think she's ready on the first node. Second node might be ready by then. Let's see how many water clones make it this round. Try a mother hunt i guess
Oh and a note on water clones. Keep em in sperate cups of water. If one rots they won't both rot. Always a problem to watch for when water cloning. Or pickup an aquarium air pump and air stone. And u can keep a few clones in same water. Still change it often though with pH adjusted water.
I'd say if it ain't broke don't fix it. That's why I stick to rockwool. Water clone might be your best for cloning. Different expierences for everyone lol
Thanks, I'll use separate cups for sure. Eventually I'll grab some rockwool and give it a try, but I'm fine with low cost and don't mind waiting the extra two weeks for it to root.
Looking good Peyton , nice job on the fim I gotta get that right one of these days or hope I get lucky when I top lol , But there coming along nice for you can't wait to see the difference
I posted some pics last week on last page LOL Would you like me to take some new ones later Stumped ? I'll get some after a bit when I top off my containers. There really looking good I'm happy with them I think I got my stretch right I was worried for a little bit I only have about 1 1/2 feet of ceiling left LOL
Peyton you should pull good out of a scrog on that PC , I don't wanna compare weight with you LOL. I gotta figure out how to do a scrog and clean my system every week with the way i do it now it won't work as I give my girls a peroxide bath every week while I clean my system out. Might have to try a hempy on the side , do you mix your nutes everyday or have some premixed already waiting ?
Kola, I have my nutes made up usually every other day or two. I make them a gallon at a time and use it in 2 or 3 days on 2 plants. I water everyday with mine to get about 10 percent runoff, although with prefect conditions and a big rez you can go a few days without watering. And the only hard part about scrog is making the screen. The rest is easy, just make sure you have enough room for the stretch and clean the underbrush
Looking at pics now, they are looking good, don't be shy with multi weekly updates lol.
We should start that group journal sometime. Who wants to start it. *touches his nose* not it! Lol
