No. Never have. Perlite is inert, so what you put in is what you should get out. And I've never seen signs of pH problems either. The clones are doing great, and SB is starting to pick up, and they all get fed from the same bottle.
Ook I guess you were misinformed on this so let me fill ya in. Yes u gotta test your runoff. PH will swing as nutrients will get absorbed. Does that in any medium. PH problems when there bad look like yellow spots n shit. When pH range isn't optimal THEN you can get other deformities. And slower growth and formation.
When feeding in any medium soil, hydro, coco, Hempy. The idea is to add water or feed on either side of the pH swing, hydro has no medium so ya feed at 5.5 to 5.8 and by the end of the week its up to 6.5. Now if the pH isn't swinging properly and stopping at say 6, instead of having time to swing up to 6.5. Different nutrients get absorbed at different pH ranges. I have a chart somewhere I can show ya.
Same idea with soil. We feed at 6.5 and runoff should be 5.5 to 5.8. Same idea with Hempy. If you feed at 5.8 and u get runoff at 5.8 then nutrients are not being absorbed properly. Kind of hard to test runoff. U should get runoff of 6.5 ish
And that can cause slow growth, along with too cold roots will slow it down. That bucket on the floor? What's the water temp in the Hempy bucket? Below 70f above 60f anything lower will cause slow growth.
Not saying anything is wrong. Plant looks fine to me and your just paranoid is all. But if u wanna check those few things to rule anything out. Root temp and runoff.
Cheers bro!
