Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

Hang in there man, don't let it get you down. You can always set your sights on the 700 or 900. Probably a hell of a lot cheaper and you'll still get awesome results

alrighty roughneck, here's a little breakdown of how i clone.

we're aiming today for the first node. we'll take the second set of nodes before flower.

i always use a scalpel or exacto and try to cut it as close as i can to the stem

i usually ph water to put the clones in, cause you wanna cut them and get them in water quick or an air bubble can get trapped in and kill it. i didn't do that this time cause i have some distilled water from the cs project

depending on the size of the clone, there could be a few nodes between the cut and the top. i always strip the nodes up to the top. luckily there's only 1 node to trim off

after we trim it off

and the view from the top. at this point you can trim the leaves on top or leave that till its in the medium.

alrighty, now i go to the cut and make a new cut at a 45 degree angle
0227151503.jpg

i then go ahead and get it dusted in rooting compound, and gently knock off excess powder
0227151504.jpg

then once you got all that, i pop it directly into the 2 liter clone bottle

then its time for the dome, i always breath into the bag daily to keep it fresh and steamy, you'll want to try and keep it 80% humidity and 80 degrees warm. after 4 days, take off dome and water if necessary. should root in 7 to 10 days

and there's the big girl, looking good after a little trim job

hope i was able to help you out man. this worked best for me because i grow in perlite and couldn't afford to get root riot or rapid rooters or any of that good stuff.

Awesome breakdown I think I got it seems pretty easy when u put it like that...still a few questions just out of curiosity...y do u trim the leaves like that on top and take the nodes off...and to breath into the bag I assume u have to take it off?

Trim the leaves so the plant doesn't waste energy. It needs to focus on building roots, although some people don't trim them and it's fine. You don't have to take bag off, just pull it a little and breath in. Breath helps kick up humidity and provide co2, so I do it whenever I can for the clones. After about 7 days I usually take the dome off and let them do their thing, just watch in case they start to wilt though

and don't forget to mix up a nice mellow urine spray and mist daily. or don't. is OK. a personal thing. nice tutorial peyton, thanks

Usually most people take clones when they're a little bigger, but for some reason I've always taken them when they're small or flowering. I still prefer the monstercrop clones. Once you get the hang of it, it gets to be a lot of fun. Just be careful, or next thing you know you'll have a 4x4 room with 20 plants in it.

I hear you on the monster crop clones, not that I have done it, but i am going to, real soon too. three plants just entering flower now. and I want to super clone the super lemon too, then my wife, cloning her next
