Quick question, what's a monster crop & how long do your flowering clones take to root? I took some wk1 flower clones yesterday

Skunnymonster , monster cropping is when you take a flowering clone the clone grow bushier with more nodes. I take mine in the 3rd week of flowering when your hitting the stretch mark. They say or what I've come to understand is the clones will root easier if taken around the stretch period. all 5 of my girls were monster cropped in the 3rd week. For the roots I usually see mine in a week same as any other clones I've taken.

Yup. It's just a clone from deep in flower. I would recommend trying to top it and defol constantly, cause they bush up really fast and uncontrollably. Lots and lots of branches. I think I took her about 6 weeks into flower and it took about 3 weeks to properly root. Then it took about another 2 to 3 weeks to get new growth. But once it grows, it goes

Thanks for the info lads, mine are 7 days into flower (almost 3 weeks of 12/12) & they are in their stretch period so I could have struck gold with monster cropped clones

Ya I found them to root easier when there in stretch, there producing hormones for bigger roots at that point it was something like that theres a big write up on here somewhere about the stretch and rooting going together. I like them I call them my special girls cause the first month they look like I should go buy them helmet's so they can't hurt themselves. They grow all funny

Yeah, they stay really ugly for a long time. Mine took a couple months before it started spitting out normal leaves

Yes they do LOL.... Well I went ahead and tossed little PC in the Plant of the month see how she does against the others she doesn't look like much compared to a few of the others but ya never know till ya try right.

Alright, I want answers damnit. What is the real factor with what's going on here? I water my plants full strength nutes usually twice a day because of the clones. Temps are in the 70s and rh is under 50. No co2.

My plants show no signs of deficiency or stress, yet everything in my flower room seems to take at least one month longer than suggested flower time. My HGK clones are an 8 week strain and have been in 12/12 since August, and they're still clear with some cloudy trichs. My SB went 14 weeks, my flux went 12 weeks, my pc is starting week 6, but don't know if it'll be ready by Xmas. Can anyone figure out what the hell is going on? Ask as many questions as you need, cause I'm hoping someone can figure this out

PM I'm thinking your Hempy is taking longer But should be faster than soil. I've actually been thinking that for a few weeks now cause I'm gonna do half and half next run and mine and your PC have around the same harvest date to them but yours looks like 2 weeks behind mine. In the end your plants always look healthier than mine do but ya same thing has been on my mind too

Could it be your light ? Slowing the growth down ? I'm not a LED guy but beside that and your nutes, we have the same plant even pheno same

My plants stay healthy, and I still haven't had a plant change leaf colors yet. Even if I stop nutes for two weeks my planted stay green till the end. It's just driving me nuts having to wait longer. And yeah, if or plants have same harvest date then mine is pretty far behind. It's filling out more each day, but still is nowhere near yours. I'll have to do like you and 50/50 my future grows for comparison. Maybe try some hempy veg then transplant to soil for flower? I'll have to pick up some soil this winter. I'm just sick of watching everyone harvest two plants to my one. I want more smoke too damnit

It might be the light. Might have to try a different brand of light soon. I wonder if adding a 250 hps would help.

I was just looking back at your plants and they seem to get darker green later they go ? were usually it's the other way around right ? mine lighten up as they suck the rest of the nitrogen out ? Too much N ??? Don't know for sure just thought I would toss it out there look at your FnV starting out that's how all your girls are starting but now looking at you PC and HGK the leaves are so dark like an over abundance of N that would slow flowering time down when there calling for more P an K right. be like getting N toxicity or close to it ? Just a guess buddy

screw soil bro buy a cheap pump and some Mykos as a bennie and rock a DWC pot just as easy as your Hempy and you already have the nutes for it. Just try one 5 gallon and check it out

I can't do dwc cause I wouldn't able to keep res temps at a safe level. I can barely afford to heat my grow room, so any form of cooling will be too much. I've got mykos on my list for things to get this spring.

Ya I can't tell you what my bucket temps are my room runs 75-77 f and I had root rot all the time, tried sterile rez worked for a while , till I went with that Mykos and I don't even worry about my temps now. It lets you run higher temps without having to worry bout getting the rot

I might look into it this spring if that's the case. I just didn't want to have to deal with root rot. I know my room was usually high 70s low 80s in summer, sometimes in the 90s. I'll be reconfiguring my grow room after these harvests, so hopefully I can make it more accommodating

Ya bro that's what I use the Mykos for is the temps , summer kills me too I was glad I found it and you know it's working cause your plants almost double the feeding rate they drink so much more water and take up the nutes better I'm praising them for this grow cause I know that's what got me to this point and my girls are looking very good this round.
