Re: Pete's White Widow, Blackberry, Bubblelicious Grow.
The hairs turning colors are not completely indicative of flower ripeness. There are multiple factors to consider. Personally for me, my main concern is general bud density, I want to make sure those nugs are hard and resistant to the "cupping". If when I cup them there is very little resistance force from the buds, I know they could still grow longer, unless it's specifically an airy pheno.
Trichome color is a good indicator, however is only one factor in the equation. Some people like to flush for a long time, some people not as long, it's a matter of preference really, some people use 50 gallons, some use 10, etc. However, some people will use a flushing solution actually rather which forms a chelated solution that forces the plant to "eat itself" and metabolize ALL stored up nutrients. It's one reason why I try to stick to all organic nutrients because you don't have to worry about missing the flushing window.
I guess what I'm saying is I'd squeeze gently and cup the nugs to see how dense they are, and in accordance to the hairs and trichomes I can see how long until it's ready, can't really tell from your pics, seems the Blackberry is gonna take longer than some of the other strains -- looks like some buds could definitely use
well over 2 weeks. I don't know anyone whose flushed longer than two weeks or so... It would not make sense to just "flush everything and all buds all at the same time equally" unless they are all the same strain, and flowering progress, etc. Since I predict the Bubblicious and White Widow buds would be done much before the BB because of the indica in their genetics. So you would not want to flush bud that isn't even close to being done, ya catch my drift?
Again, sometimes you can't expect things to flower exactly as the breeders say it will, a lot of it is variable to the conditions. General bud density is usually my main concern.
Hope this helps, not sure if it answered any of your questions. Just don't panic!
