Hi RainStacks,

Just wanted to drop by and wish and you and yours a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS . . . . RainStacks

THE REPS ARE RIGHT returns this Sunday with it's long awaited 4th episode! Look below in my SIGNATURE for details. Be there or be square...

Hello my friends. Thank you so so much for all the holiday well wishes. I feel so badly I have been completely MIA recently. Work has been very consuming recently. I hope that changes soon. It really made my day coming on and seeing so many kind words from all of you.
:circle-of-love:

The cured medicine from my outdoor grow turned out very smooth. It is very mellow too, but I am okay with that. The very last plant to flower (runt) produced some very fluffy buds, but they were quite potent compared to the rest of the harvest. I think I have built up a tolerance to an extent, but I am still enjoying the stuff.

I will get some pics up of some cured bud in the next couple of days.

The indoor plants are looking shockingly poor. I am too embarrassed to even put up a pic. Brokey is covered in mites, and has almost no green left, Adonia is still growing, but has ultra curled leaves. I believe because the ppm's/nitrates in my tap water are just way too high.
I do have viable clones of both(well only one from Brokey), so hopefully I will get the SNS stuff soon to kill the mites, and then be able to afford a proper setup in the near future.

I hope that all of you are having a great start to 2014!

:Namaste:

I have used Monterey Garden Insect Spray with Spinosad and Monterey All Natural 3 in 1 Garden Insect Spray to kill spider mites. I add 3-5 drops per gallon of Ivory Liquid Soap as a surfactant to help the spray stick to leaves and stems better. I spray every 3 days alternating the 2 Monterey products for 2 weeks to kill adults and larvae as they hatch. Sierra Natural Sciences also makes 2 products to kill spider mites SNS-217C Concentrate and SNS-209 Systemic Insect Control.

OH, not Brokey! Tell me it isn't so...

DEATH TO ALL MITES!!!

hope you get the mites sorted out bro, they breed and spread so damn quick ive seen vids of plant that had only a few mites and within days the plant was covered with webs

hopefully the sns mite product does what it says so i know im covered if i ever have that problem, i got a dog who runs through bushes and long grass so im sure its only a matter of time before i have to deal with these bugs.

you do have options without using chemicals such as lady bugs/birds or what ever their called in your part of the planet, you can buy them online and if you let them onto your plants when its dark then they wont fly off when the lights come back on, if you release them with the lights on then they will all fly away or at least a good number of them will so lady bugs need to be released at night then they make your plants their home,

now im not sure on the predator mites name but theirs a mite that only eats spider mites and when the mites are gone the predator mites move on, but as ive not had to go through this yet then i cant really help to much apart from offer info and advice ive come across before.

just remember your goal is to break the life cycle of the mites, its ok killing the mites but when their eggs hatch a few days later then your fighting the same problem all over again, i do remember reading about some home made products using different things and stuff like that but you would need to search online to be 100% sure what i am saying is correct.

good luck and may the bud gods be looking down on your plants and aid in a speedy recovery

Hiya Rain :byebye: I don't like spider mites either, I used Neem oil with great results and I have tried the Canola Oil brand that is available also and I can't tell the difference except the smell maybe, both seem to work. The training looks great and Happy Weedsday to you :rollit:

Hi my friends, I have been working far too much to no avail. Like a hamster in a wheel. A rat stuck in a maze without an exit. I am sorry for being MIA so much. I miss all of you a lot.

I finally got the SNS products a few days ago, and unfortunately it has not killed all of the mites yet. I don't know if they didn't get enough solution directly on them, or if these are immune to rose hips, but I am still seeing live mites, albeit just a few. There was also a second type of concentrate I will mix and try. I will keep trying the spray, but will likely also order the pred mites. I will run out of room if I don't switch them to flower soon. It has been cold, so they have grown slowly. I got some crazy pics of the mites at peak numbers, it is miraculous the plant is alive really. The leaves were all stuck together from the webs, and there was almost no green left at all.

:Namaste:
